Back to Beta?

Fantastic tool

The current version is very buggy. It freezes and stalls. Takes a while to load?

Great organizational tool for all types of media

It’s one of two apps that provide me enough benefit to justify a subscription. ‘Nuff said. (The other is YNAB, check it out.) One thing I’d change: what’s up with the new visual effects when I’m scrolling around? Very distracting. Otherwise impressive app.

Beware of this company

Lolombibi

If you pay for Evernote you are automatically put on a subscription. When you are surprised by the automatic charge on your credit card and ask for a refund they reply with “subscriptions are non-refundable” I haven’t used the app since the beginning of last year so basically I have paid for two years of service for nothing. Beware!!!!

Desktop version hurts to use

texjer

The iOS app is pretty great, sorry to hijack but I couldn’t figure out how to contact Evernote. The desktop app is so bad, I’m sure that they’re employees don’t even use it. It has all of the buttons on the left that have no context or description, so you just randomly click on them til you get where you need to go. And then the “Evernote” logo at the top isn’t clickable, and I’m always clicking it trying to go to some kind of “home” base or something to get out of a search or to get back to my notes, etc. Please fix. <3

Using numbered or bulleted lists is terrible

bkmtn

Why do I have to hit three different buttons to indent or outdent a level of a numbered or bulleted list? Makes it super difficult to use this app for easy note taking. There is a ton of room on the taskbar (or whatever it is called), but the indent/outdent buttons are hidden under the text format menu. Really really dumb design.

Great - occasionally a little slow

Great app. So useful. Works as advertised. Wish there were better encryption options.
