Simplicity and UI are most important

I could do without “work chat” and the integrated “services”or whatever they are called. I’m a long time Premium user. The best features (for me) are full search of PDFs and handwritten notes. The delivery is less than stellar, though. Searching for an exact phrase isn’t easy and typically pulls up many irrelevant results. Additionally, the search pulls up some results immediately and then as I am scrolling through, many more results appear in between the initial results. So once I have finally found what I am looking for, it gets displaced by other results before I have a chance to open the desired note. Maybe it is a consequence of the time required to open the image previews (after the text), but it is annoying nonetheless. I like to use the iOS “share” to Evernote feature for web sites but the tagging process is cumbersome. I have to scroll through many tags to add one at the time of saving the web page. The on the fly tagging process in the Pocket app is much much better and more efficient. With improved searching and tagging, it would be a 5 star app. And please, no more collaboration features.

Bad Update

Keyboard tool bar is gratuitous and presumptuous. It does not help note taking at all. Thanks for improving the speed which should have been done long ago.

UI is broken for iPhone X

Loved Evernote but now am really close to deleting. Every time you type a note your cursor shoots to the top which doesn’t allow you to see more than one lines above where you are typing. If want to go back an edit it can sometimes cause the page to glitch and doesn’t show what you are typing. Please allow users to see the note, type where they want with the page auto scrolling right to the top.

Were bullet marks taken away?

The one thing I liked about Evernote was the ability to use bullets. Now I don’t see them. Please tell me I’m just overlooking something within the app. If not, please bring them back! I rated this app as 5-star simply because of being able to use bullets. Now I have to give it 3.

Still no dark theme

Customers have been requesting this for years. Come on Evernote... At least try

I’ve spent a lifetime trying to be massively organized

JPBoston

I’ve used every organization technique on the planet and I find Evernote to be the best application available on the market today.

Very depressing

Squeebles3

I loved Evernote until I updated. All of my notes disappeared and now I can’t even contact Evernote support.

Where did the highlight option go?

Jen Kayrismas

The new update either took away the highlighting option or made it impossible to find.

Embarrassingly bad

I am so confounded by how poor the Evernote app actually is, the web version is even worse. - The help button to send questions or issues is not surfaced, I spent 5 minutes looking for it and abandoned. Shows a total lack of commitment to either help or improve. - The Evernote icon itself on the web version I hoped would take me to some kind of a landing page, it is not even clickable - I could not locate the trash folder where I can see deleted items - The worst part is the items I have recorded, don't properly open in my Mac when I airdrop from my app. It opens a link in the browser that's empty. After 3 or 4 tries sometimes it does. I am deleting all my content out of Evernote and see if I can find a different app.
