Long-Time User Running Out of Patience

‘Have been using Evernote for 13 years. I am shocked by how buggy and un-user-friendly the IOS and Android apps are. According to their tech support team I might need to UNINSTALL and REINSTALL the apps in order to persuade it to sync. Broken sync has not been addressed for over 8 months, although the text reformatting has a become a little smoother.

No List Indent?

Why would you get rid of the ability to indent lists on the app? I’ve created so many lists on this app over the years, from bullet point lists to checklists, and all of them have been multi-level using the indent function. But now it’s gone? Who thought it would be a good idea to get rid of such a small but important feature?

I wish it worked…

I don’t know if it’s just me but I can never open up my Evernote application to view my notes. It has always told me that I don’t have an internet connection unless I connect to my home wifi, which is pretty inconvenient and inexcusable since I purchased the personals subscription allowing me to access my notes wherever I am.

Over the past several months this app has gone downhill. Duplicate notes, I’ll write something in a note and then it will be lost in a few seconds after I’ve pushed the check mark. The unreliability is seriously making me consider going to another notes app. Shame cuz I’ve been with Evernote so long. Don’t understand why these problems aren’t being fixed. They are just getting worse.

Loosing faith in this app

I’ve used this app for a few years now and used to love it for the most part, but within the past few months I notice that when I’m writing a note and I go back it to later, it doesn’t save the full note or even had it happen where it deletes notes I made entirely— it’s a lot of writing I’ll never get back— and it’s incredibly frustrating thinking it’s gonna save my notes fully and then it doesn’t. Sometimes takes forever to load the app or quickly pull up a note. There’s also syncing issues where if I update a note on one device, it creates whole new copy of the same note so then I end up with like 5 different copies of the same notes with different text updates I made each time. I love how it helps me keep organized and like the simplicity of the app layout— but these issues I’m having are really frustrating and considering a different app moving forward

Just signed up for a 1-year plan so I can use my iPad and iPhone with the desktop. What a mistake. Mobile apps are super buggy, constantly hanging and not syncing. Can barely even make a note and edit it. Then the edit button just circles around forever. Notebooks don’t match the cloud side. Several missing and even the notebook listing is mis-formatted. Syncing isn’t working. Don’t bother trying to use. Maybe they’ll fix maybe not. Seems others were right, EN isn’t paying attention to this user base. Feel bad about spending on the 1-year sub after only 24 hours :( Maybe I’ll make a claim with my credit card as what they show on there advertising is essentially false.
