Subscriber since 2012, but I’m parting ways with Evernote. They did a great thing when they changed their programming arrangements so that all platforms used the same code base. But since that time, opening and running Evernote on every device I own is too slow to be usable. Even an M1 Max can’t make this thing run well. And every time there’s an update, I read the update description with hopes for some mention of speed improvements. But that’s never the case. And with no great way to extract all my content, and definitely no way to do that with any speed, I’m done being hopeful that the product will realize the great vision they had for it and which we shared. With products like Craft, and Notion, and others gaining traction, there is even less reason to tolerate what has become a mediocre product. I hope they get the speed issue resolved, but I’m sure I’ll be vested in a better solution by then.

I keep years worth of work notes in here and it’s great. The only issue I have sometimes it makes copies of my notebooks for no reason. Better then deleting them, I guess, but one of my notebooks I now have 5 copies of so I have to be extra careful to make sure I don’t delete the most updated one.

Slow. Unreliable. Bulky. That’s today’s Evernote. On both desktop and iOS. They seem to have taken their focus off writing notes and on to task lists and homepage widgets. I don’t have any plans to use either of those times, and it interferes with the note taking that I have relied upon for the last 10 years. By the time the application loads, then the note, and then waiting for editing to load… I already forgot what I wanted to write down. It can take anywhere from 10-45 seconds, and after that? You never know if the note will actually save and sync. The web clipper seems to work about 25% of the time at best these days. I was hoping they’d listen to feedback and get better, but unfortunately, at this point, I’m actively searching for a better replacement. Also - the price has increased all while quality has gone down. Truly a bummer all around.

My account has been used in Mexico . I changed the password and tried to deactivate my account. It says error and can’t deactivate it.

My Evernote account has been hacked multiple times by Indians. Evernote tells me about the (obviously suspicious) login, yet allows it to happen and revokes my device for the one in India. I don’t feel safe using this product at all. Don’t put any sensitive information on it.

Evernote used to be a great app. As A along time user this was my go to application for storing all things notes. However, for the past few years the iOS app has steadily declined in performance issues and lagging to a point where you wait for a full minute to load in. The app is completely non usable. Until Evernote steps up there game to compete with other alternatives then I can not recommend this app.

Cancelled through the app store, just got a notice from the developer - weeks before it was scheduled to renew - telling me my credit card had expired.

Please make the app fast and reliable, rather than trying to entice us with more unnecessary bells and whistles. Was the Home Page something your users asked for? Your app is a house falling apart, and you’re repainting the siding!

User since 2012. It just keeps getting worse. Too much stuff on it to leave without a major effort. Are they TRYING to make people abandon their accounts? If so, ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Enter at your own risk BUT believe me, you don’t need the frustration.
