Frustrated

I have been a loyal subscriber to this for over 30 years and lately this application is testing my patience. I cannot receive the latest issues, even after syncing, restoring my issues and I went as far as deleting the app and reinstalling it. When I called customer service, no one could seem to address my issues and even went as far as telling me that my subscription had been cancelled, but could not even give me a answer on why. I did figure out that it had not been cancelled, which made more more upset that I was lied to. Once I was finally told that it was going to a month to month basis, did I get the August issue. I received a alert telling me that the September issue is available on Friday and as of today, still no issue on my iPad. I love reading this, but I am to the point of canceling my subscription and will get my entertainment news else where. If anyone can fix/address this issue, then I will keep my subscription, but it needs to be addressed quickly. Send help!


Magazine isn’t downloading

I’m very frustrated. I’m still not getting my magazines. I’ve tried deleting the app, restoring my purchases, and the list goes on. I just don’t know what to do anymore. I spend too much money on this digital subscription to not get my downloads.


Unable to access any issues since updating.

Account number is no longer recognized and I get a message to contact customer service which is impossible. No longer links my email and subscription so can’t log in that way either. Ready to dump the whole subscription


When will it be fixed?

I love the magazine but the app is terrible. Right now, the magazine won’t even open, the dial just spins and it won’t download. Absolute waste


Same problem as others

Can’t log in to my account. Been a print subscriber for years and recently got back to using my iPad. Used to enjoy reading magazine on my iPad. Now can’t seem to get it to work!!

I think this app runs on dial up. Pretty much need to tap everything three times before you get to see the spinning wheel for a few solid minutes. Now it won't even let me log in anymore


Why do I always need to re-login?

I’m constantly needing to re-login to download new issues. This is super annoying. It also doesn’t remember my login credentials. Get with the times, EW!


Tad disappointed

Just downloaded the app for my new device. So far I like it. But disappointed it doesn’t restore all my past issues. It doesn’t go further back then February 2014.


Swipe up for reader view

Yeah I get it... I can swipe up for reader view. I don't need a pop up every time I swipe to a new page. Please make it stop! I just want to read it like a magazine


Why update it only to make it worse?

It’s a good thing there isn’t an option for zero or negative stars because that’s what the updated EW app deserves. I typically don’t write reviews but felt compelled to due to my frustration with the app. Gaining access to my paid product has become an ordeal. Instead of being able open the app and download the latest issues I have to constantly log in/subscribe and on one occasion was charged for a magazine even though I bought a two year subscription this past spring. I enjoy the EW Magazine very much and have been a long time subscriber but unless they fix this app I will not renew my subscription.
