Great app with minimal issues, quick fixes

You guys have been great about fixing bugs and quick too. Thanks! Still not a fan of the new photo feature when you click on a photo. The two fingers to spread for zoom is no good, double tap is better. Also you can’t easily exit out of this mode unless you completely take the zoom back to normal. That’s frustrating. I kind of like the slideshow feature but it’s not necessary if sacrificing the other stuff. Updated 2/25/18- A few minor edits please.... -can you shorten the time the “edit post” black bar is on the top of the screen after completing an edit? -give us a little more space to edit text? After you click on “Add more text” the space is narrow and you have to be too precise between the green edit bar and under the picture. Especially if you want to tap to “paste” in text. -the back arrow/circle that displays in the upper left hand corner after clicking on a picture could be a little bigger so as to cover the profile photo of the poster. Too often the profile photo gets bumped instead. -is there a way you can let us click off/out of zoom mode on pics instead of having to shrink it back down before exiting? Thanks!

This app is driving me crazy! I can’t even get in to stop the stupid emails because the freaking app keeps freezing and crashing!! I just want to stop the emails before I LOG OUT PERMANENTLY AND DELETE

I’ve recently begun using Ello, like many others I’m over the Instagram algorithms and lack of transparency. Ello is a wonderful app because of how much it’s based off making discovery of new artist easy! This isn’t about getting followers and likes. It’s about sharing your work and finding others who can inspire you to continue creating. The other part of Ello that I really love is the fact that it’s not just about posting your work to be seen by a small few. There are real chances to submit your art to be featured in articles, YouTube videos, magazines, blogs and even art gallery’s! I do hope they continue to improve some crucial UX elements that need some love. But hopefully as they gain more attention and users they can elate the experience.

I love what Ello is trying to do. Getting artists more connected to other artists and giving artists more opportunity to get their work out there. The app is not super air tight though. Not as streamlined of an interface as say Instagram, a little harder to figure out. But not too complicated.
Uploading photo issues

Can you guys please fix the upload function ? Sometimes when I try to upload a photo and tap the button, nothing happens and it goes back to the typing function Thank you in advance :)
Extra spacing

After posting an image, growing back to edit and add image tags then saving the edits, There is a large blank spot like 6 or 7 lines worth of nothing between the tags and the image stats.

Really like the site. Does not seem to have any bugs that are not fixed before it hits users. Good coders and admins. Interesting content.
