Just starting to explore the space, looks great so far! Really loved your privacy policy *however* a glitch in your Preferences functionality is keeping me from enjoying those features. Specifically, when the preference description is too long, it shrinks the toggle for the preference to where it is un-clickable or not visible at all. And so as of now, I can’t turn off some pretty obnoxious features that are currently auto-set to “YES.” Also, kind of annoying that set up involves you auto-following users...sure, it only took a minute or two to unfollow all of them...but it’s just really unnecessary—let me find my own users to follow. Thanks!

i got this app to be a part of the artistic community, but i searched “minnesota” in the search bar and literally the ONLY thing that showed up was endless content of girls with their boobs out and gibberish sexual keywords. it was like how wish titles their clothes but giant paragraphs. i understand that this is “age restricted material” but it’s so incredibly disappointing that it’s really just a place for lonely old guys to jerk off to giant boobs. what a shame.

I have a badge for a notification.. I have opened the app several times. Opened different pages.. I have no idea how to remove the notification badge. Please fix this or make it easier to get directly to the item that is seeking my attention. Seriously Size of the buttons to disable/enable push and email notifications is ridiculous. Some items I can’t click

ello actually needs to do something about these links to sexy websites like some porn blogs. ello keeps crashing on my iphone. we need ello to be more porn-free.

Although, I've just gotten the app an I'm still figuring it out! It's the best app ever because it tailors to what you are interested in an you can actually get jobs from it!! Awesome app I love it

This is the third time I am writing a review regarding my experience on Ello. I am beginning to think that my review of Ello is being censored. At any rate, I was on Ello initially for almost 3 years - possibly more. In that time, I garnered maybe eighty followers. That’s right: 80. I have more followers and engagement on the dog eat dog environment of Instagram than I ever had on Ello. Eventually, it became apparent to me that the only people that would get any real recognition or inclusion on the platform are people that Ello chooses to be noticed. In other words, once again, it’s who you know - not what you can do. In many ways, I found my experience on Ello like being in high school all over again. Except, in this instance, the popular clique, being comprised of the art room kids, have somehow taken over the school. If I were my high school self, I would celebrate such an occurrence. However, my current wiser and older self resists elitism and artistic snobbery - which is what Ello is all about. So, if you’re looking for a supportive and encouraging community where you feel empowered and have a real voice, Ello is not it. In many ways, Ello is the epitome of one hand clapping.

The idea behind Ello is admirable: let’s not mine users’ data. But as a showcase for creative output, this app fails hard by failing to display images. It’s like going to a restaurant where no food is ever served. Where is the content? All I see are grey boxes with spinning loading icons for 30 seconds or more before any images even load. Then they just trickle in, one image every 30–45 seconds. It is not my data / WiFi connection either, because apps like Pinterest and Tumblr load images and GIFs within a comfortable time. Please make the content load fast. Thank you!
