iCloud sync is not supported?

Great for Markdown

A few years ago there were tons of highly rated text editors for iOS. Many of those popular apps have been abandoned. I was looking for a modern iOS app that worked on iPhones and iPads but could also sync with my desktop. This app does. The template and snippet system is amazing. If you have TextExpander it allows for even more complex snippets. I've found that paired with a travel keyboard I'm actually able to produce blog ready Markdown faster than I could on my desktop. This app is one of my best app store finds and now lives on my iPad's home screen.

By far my favorite writing app for the iPhone. Surpasses all the others in the same category imo. Totally worth it.

no iPad pro support

this is a great app but with no ios9 support for .. over a year? this is getting nuts. it's unusable from an iPad pro standpoint. Do not buy until you see an update from the developer. Until then, use 1Writer. (for a long time, this was the best text editor on iOS but it has fallen many notches due to developmental stagnation.
Awesome writing app, but...

This was my favorite writing app, and I have several workflows that enhance how it works for me. However, as others have pointed out, this app has not yet been updated for iPad pro. This means that it can't be used in split screen mode. Since there are other options that allow writing while viewing another app, this limitation severely limits Editorial's usefulness for me.

Editing text is easy, beautiful, and extensible. I simply wish for an option to enable the unique TaskPaper controls for lists in Markdown documents.

They have a bug in their iPad version for iOS9 which prevents messages from being displayed properly. I have submitted three reports via email and one on the Tech Support bulletin board but have heard NOTHING from this company. Because I need something that works, I purchased another editor which supports both Markdown and Fountain syntax: Write for iPad
