Doesn't sync with iCloud

Rufus Lynx

Ok editor but loses a lot of points because it doesn't sync files stored on iCloud.

Great for Writing, Poor for Managing

DrJJWMac

This is a great app to write markdown. Points for full screen mode. Biggest problem ... You cannot rename a folder! You are stuck with what you create the first time or with the headache of creating a new folder, moving selections of files, then deleting the empty folder. A possible work around ... Create a "Drafts" folder to do all initial work, then move files out to desired folders later. I would love to see UI updates include drag and drop in a tile layout of files and folders rather than the pop-over selector method. Actually, as others noted, I would love to see UI updates in general.

Simply outstanding.

...and The Nobel Prize for a Ridiculously Useful App is for... Editorial.

No support for iPad Pro or ios9 in general

Ir77

Such an expensive and capable app but if you're using this or plan on using this on iPad Pro don't waste your money. The app is about 2 years behind on any meaningful updates and the developer doesn't seem to care.

Perfect for writing

samuelknecht

Editorial is a really focused writing app that is deceitfully powerful. I love how stripped down it feels while typing, and I absolutely love the capabilities of running Python scripts in an understandable way.

Easy to use and useful features

balinjdl

Very easy to use with simple but powerful editing features like snippets, taskpaper support, highlighting options, and Dropbox support (which works perfectly well). Quick to start - get right into editing without a lot of taps or swipes. Return to your editing session simply. If you're looking for a powerful but still unobtrusive text/taskpaper/fountain editor, this is definitely worth a look.

"Markdown" must die! Kill it with fire!

ShoobyTaylor

Why in the world are you enshrining a technology that has been obsolete for 32 years? Needs editor, but -2 stars for reinforcing this travesty. It's the clunkiest possible solution to a problem that doesn't even exist. We have rich text now. How about we make THAT the standard, instead of a standard that what you type is not what you actually get? It's not 1982 anymore.

Very good but needs an update

JPC54232

This app is great for Fountain but as others have said it desperately needs an update for iCloud and iOS 9.

The best!

Stoju

It's hard to describe how amazing this app is. It's the best there is at what it does. It's worth every cent.

# Extremely Versatile Writing Environment

rdela

Possibly the most limitless app I have ever tried, and by far my favorite app to write and edit text in. Remains my goto despite the wealth of contenders in its category.
