Drybar app stinks

drybar raj

I like the old app. I’ve had multiple problems with this new version. I can’t seem to book an appointment on the new app, it just gets” hung” when get all the way through to the final step to book it. I’ve called customer service multiple times and missed appointment time slots I wanted because the app isn’t working. I asked customer service to help me and they were not “getting it” …disappointed and frustrated with the customer service as well as the app.

Doesn’t work

dancer with attitude!

I saw the negative reviews for this app, but still decided to download thinking it would help me manage several upcoming appointments. I’m trying to book at a new location for a vacation and the search tool is messed up. I’m searching in “Las Vegas” and it returned a location in Pennsylvania… It’s embarrassing how bad this is.

Frustrating and Disappointing

This new app is terrible. I didn’t rate it right away hoping updates would come to improve it, but nothing has changed. I’m surprised based on all the negative reviews that you haven’t made significant changes. First, the app keeps logging me out, so you have to login every time you use it, which is a waste of time. There is no option for face ID. Add that feature to cut down time. Next, the most important reason for using the app is to MAKE AN APPOINTMENT, but that is the last option you get to make after toggling through too many questions (7 questions to be more accurate). Also, when you ask it to remember you don’t have extensions, it doesn’t remember, so you have to answer the question every time. On some questions once you answer, it automatically jumps to the next screen, but on other questions after you answer you have to choose “next” to go to the next screen. Finally, once you get to choose your appointment, many times there isn’t any availability or an option that works, so you have to START ALL OVER AGAIN with a new location in mind. If they don’t have any availability, you have to START ALL OVER AGAIN and go through this process several times hoping to find something. I used to go more often, but now if I get frustrated with the app, I just opt to stay home and do it myself. The original app was way more user friendly and customer focused. Please go back to the old model where you pick your appointment day first and then you see all the locations that have availability. Focus on appointment time and location first and then deal with all the other questions at the end. Also, do not make the customer restart the process for a new location every time. Have the option to remember comments and to add favorite stylists in the app to request again in the future.

Buggy - unusable

I haven’t been able to book a single appointment since the new app. Blank screens, server errors, code errors. I am considering dropping my membership

Add-on issue on mobile app

Nicole - App review

I have a Drybar membership and one of the membership perks is to receive a free add-on per month. However if I request the add-on through the mobile app, when I arrive for my appointment the salon has no record of me requesting the add-on. Even though it shows the add on service has been requested on my app. This has happened multiple times. I then need to verbally request it at the time of my service. Unfortunately due to time constraints the salon is then unable to provide the add-on at my appointment. So I can’t even use all my membership perks. Kind of disappointing. On a positive note, the blowouts are amazing and the salon is always clean and very relaxing to be in.

New version is no good!!

#48 try at a nickname

I don’t know why Drybar felt the need to improve its app when it was great the way it was. Now it’s a hassle to use: First off, you have to manually type in your sign in info every time. With so many accounts, passwords and email addresses, I have to go to my secure PW keeper to remember, if I’ve closed the app out. You can’t copy and paste to the sign in, nor will it take your shortcut letters, as everything else does. Second, you have to choose which salon you want to use every time. Just go straight to my favorites. I don’t want to go to a map. Then you have to go through several question’s before getting to the booking part, even though they’re the same answers every time. No, I don’t have extensions and even though you check don’t ask again, it still asks. Those are just a few of my gripes. But a biggie now is that it doesn’t show my appointments. So I have no idea what I’ve booked for the holidays. My first appointment showing up for me is in October 2022! That means if I accidentally booked 2 in a week, I don’t know that. And if I found a new opening (rare) and booked it, I can’t cancel the other one. I have to call to cancel. Please fix this one great app!

Great Company, TERRIBLE App

Does drybar really not have enough money to hire a competent developer? I can’t even begin to describe how many issues I’ve had with this app over the years, that NEVER are resolved.

Does not work

Invite not good

I would go to Drybar if I could just easily book an appointment. This app does not work. I tried setting up two new accounts. I still can’t login. Really poor IT support. I also tried to login online that didn’t work. Unbelievable.

Hate this app

reg8/2018

It no longer recognizes me, because I got a new phone- don’t tell me to delete and reinstall I’ve done it all And I agree with everything the reviews say. My saloon never has my time or add ons correct. And when i canceled or edited, it didn’t get that right either.

Frustrating app

I report this all the time. The app won’t let me book an appointment the last week of the month. It simply isn’t on the calendar. Really frustrating. Love your service, hate your app!
