Quit getting so many drivers!!

I loved it at first! But now, ESPECIALLY during “peak pay” you only get one or two deliveries! Door Dash needs to let the ones who do irk it all the time get the promos.. at least postmates will pay you by the mile, and add an extra initiative if you get so many deliveries in a certain amount of days. I haven’t even been able to catch a schedule, because my town is ALWAYS took!

I have been doing Door Dasher for three weeks. I like the interface of the app. The black regions of the state and how they turn red when work is available. I like the stats too. Driving time, active time, customer service scores, etc... The app does hiccup and the GPS can be off a little. However, that is any app. I have been paid promptly what I earned. I like letting the timer expiring if I don’t want to do the delivery. DD puts me in a mini time out until you resume it. They ‘shame’ me a bit for missing that opportunity but then I immediately get something better. Suggestions: Customers need to provide every important detail to make the delivery. Especially, when it comes to where to park if there isn’t any parking available.

I can’t express how mad I am rn... They allow so many dashers on this app you literally can’t get any orders these days! When I first started I would make $350 easily doing it 4-5 days a week. Now, I make like $150 max working 6 days sometimes every single day! And I’m not about to go get a professional job rn,I’m not 50 years old on this app I’m still in high school! I see other dashers every time I go out and they all look like they’re 50 years old.. my point is that the older generation should have an actual job and not take these jobs from young people. That or doordash just needs to stop letting so many dashers sign up!

It's strange that you're rated, but you can't rate a client! Also why, when you delivered the order, the client is notified about the arrival of the order, but does not hurry to go out, and you lose 15-20 minutes, because the process of closing the order in such cases is terrible... NO WAITING TIME FEE!!! If you call to support, you need to hang 30 minutes on the line to contact the operator and in fact, the service doesn’t help or protect you.. TERRIBLE SUPPORT TEAM!!! And why is it not possible to display the map in satellite mode, If I need it? There are many drawbacks to both the application and the service.

You have to schedule your time and the no life people take all the shifts they are packed up for the next 2 weeks and no way to make any money. The app needs to be first come first serve per order downloading and going through the application process was a waist of time would not recommend Dashing as a way to make extra cash!

For example, the only ‘English as a first language’ persons involved are the ones on the road. Every non-delivery person through no fault of their own surely , doesn’t really understand English. Or pretends not to. I called to let them know the vehicle I was using , was AWD and had acquired winter tires with studs, for safe delivery during the current and coming snow and ice. The representative said ‘you have flat tires?’..... 30 minutes later, they got what I was talking about. Sounding very surprised, said ‘ the driver either can or can’t do the delivery’. And non-verbatim , their is no way that we can record, compute, or otherwise use this information regarding safety and or safe-er delivery. This is the proverbial tip of the ice-berg when it comes to these folks being ‘interested’ or caring at all really, about safety and or driver issues, interests or involvement. I got the impression their outlook is that there are a hundred more just like you so , whatever .

I actually enjoy this PT BUT, there most be a glitch because although I am schedule it doesnt give me the option to DASH NOW; it only says SCHEDULE. Very frustrating when you are at the location and your time is waste. Then, you get a tx saying your time was cancelled because you didn’t log into dash.


DoorDash is cheap and don’t care about their drivers!!!

I have been doing DoorDash for a couple months now. The pay is usually garbage unless you’re in a suburb. They never have any incentives. Even as I speak, there is a severe snow storm and high amount of orders but I’m getting the same $5-6 pay for many deliveries. Do better DoorDash!!


Can’t see offers or except offers

I’ve done 497 deliveries since I’ve signed up with DoorDash and everything was going fine up until the last 200 or so orders. When I started, like clock work I would receive a new order request via text message and seconds later I would receive the pop up on the app with the order details and offer. Lately however, after a couple of deliveries the app would bug out. I would still receive the text message for a new order but no order offer pop up on the app. This has been happening often. I’ve hard closed the app and rebooted my phone many time as instructed by the app Q&A and I’ve also spoken to tech support with no success. Because of this I haven’t had a steady work flow during my time slots. Acceptance rate lowers (which ain’t a big deal to me as I decline all low ball offers). My gripe is I’m losing money and time slots are short. I really hope they fix this bug.
