There should be a special section at the pick up for instructions of specific items that the customer needs

The nearest town that has door dash, the driver pay is pathetic. 3 deliveries, 1 1/2 hours to complete and over 30 miles of driving (from 1st restaurant, completed the 3 deliveries and back to the 1st restaurant) The total pay was $6.63! Tips must become mandatory or this market isn’t worth the time to download the app!

Door dash payout to the delivery workers is horrible! Imagine going 2-4 miles to pick up a order, and then going another 4-8 miles for $4.50-$6.00 payout! Also let me add that the CUSTOMERS DONT TIP! Which unfortunately messed up! Do no put miles on your cars/bikes/ for pennies!
I’ve lost so many dashes.

The app is great when it actually works. I’ve lost dozens of dashes which equals to hundreds of dollars because of this faulty app. Today alone I’ve lost 3 dashes. The all freezes and becomes unresponsive when I get incoming dashes. I receive the text and the notification from the dash app but when I try to open the app it freezes and not only do I lose the chance to accept the days but my dash is paused. I literally have to hard reset (close and re open app) in order for the app to work again. By the time I do all that I’ve lost the dash. Horrible and soon I’ll stop dashing if the problem is not fixed. Even on full WiFi the app is slow.

I 100% use google maps, but when using the dasher app and trying to get directions. It automatically uses my iphone maps which I hate using and gets me lost. Ao my first time using dasher and apple maps was not a good way to go.

Y’all expect us to deliver these orders in a difficult area a campus to get the bare minimum of the tip from a customer not only that but our rate for your performance goals know if we except if we don’t except an orderMaybe consider having the customer pay a little bit more
They Ruined the App

Kicking independent contractors off of a shift for not choosing to take an order that’s too low, or saying no to lowball offers that expect you to drive 10.4 miles for $3.75, is ridiculous. Would you call a plumber and say “I don’t think you should make a living wage so I’m not going to pay you enough for your time, but I still expect you to come and fix my pipes and anything else that might need done.” It’s gotten so bad that I’m putting close to 90% of what I make back into gas and car maintenance. Simply put, it’s a clever scheme that doesn’t care about the drivers they are using and manipulating in order to make an extra buck. As long as you know going in, maybe you won’t be so disappointed.
