Doordash Needs to Pay more attention to delivery drivers concerns

Although DD has a great app when its functioning correctly there is alot of room for improvement …Needs to raise base pay and give fair “ bad weather “ pay … There NEEDS to be communication from corporate and they need to fix things that help the dasher experience b/c we are the ones who are on the front line ! Please listen to our concerns .. Some of us have great ideas !

It’s good for the ones that getting your money deposit to your personal bank but the DasherDirect isn’t a good idea they take your money and don’t want to help get it back also if you report your card lost are stolen some one can still use it and doordash won’t help you get your money back and the transaction for balance adjustment that’s doordash taken your money and they going to act like your spent your money and it was a fee that’s what they done to me and I didn’t have a card my card is being mailed to me
No tips and unsafe

People are terrible at tipping and they do not know how to shovel the snow off their sidewalks. I almost got stuck in someone’s driveway area.

Door dash and customers expect you to go a lot of miles for a small fee. If customers tip better maybe the dashers wouldn’t decline so many orders.
Good, but missing a few things

Needs an easy way to call help. Gets confused when giving two orders. It gave me the name for the taco cabana order when I was at Wendy’s and Wendy’s didn’t know anything about it. Had to figure it out myself.

I love driving for door dash. Although sometimes I’ll see an order for like $3.00 and it’s 9-11 mile drive. That’s crazy low. Some of them are really low for the miles and time it takes to drive. But most of the time it’s ok. Everything else is good but I usually will only drive if there’s a promo bc if not the delivery $$ is not very good unless the customer tips we’ll. That’s what we drivers rely on.
