No oversight - no customer service response

Ordered a dolly. Dolly never showed. Sent a message saying my dolly is complete and how much Was taken out of my account, and how much I would like to tip. Immediately messaged Dolly, still no response 10 hours later. Tried to find a number to call but none listed. You can only message them.

I setup a Dolly pickup through Facebook Marketplace, to deliver a purchase. I hired and paid for two helpers, only one showed up. I was quoted $85, charged $137 and told by the app I would be charged $157 if I made any changes to the date reserved. The movers damaged my item so badly I had to repair it and Dolly customer service has still failed to respond to multiple attempts to contact them via their App and Website. I will never use them again.

I booked a dolly to move a quartz bathroom vanity in November . I purchased the optional insurance in the amount of $1000 , since the value of the countertop was about $2500. Movers arrived and one of them proceeded to maneuver the piece and it broke and shattered. He immediately called it in to Dolly and we took pictures etc. Customer service called me and I sent them all the required documentation, including pictures of the item before and after the damage and a quote from the store where the item was originally purchased at for replacing the item. They are refusing to pay me for the insurance I purchased, offering to just refund me for the cost of the move. I’ve called numerous times, and spoken to Jeff McMahon, their customer service supervisor and he has refused to escalate my claim and answer my question of why they offer additional insurance for purchase and then will not put me in touch with the insurance company they supposedly use. This company is not reputable.

Had a horrible experience

Scheduled two “helpers” aka movers to move a refrigerator. Stated the dimensions and weight of the refrigerator in the order, in addition to specifying need for refrigerator to be wrapped with moving blankets. Two helpers did show up on time but came without moving blankets. They decided the refrigerator was too heavy and stated the refrigerator might be dinged during the move. In the end, they decided they could NOT handle the move and left. Took morning off work to supervise move that did not happen. Would be ok IF I DIDNT SPELL OUT THE DIMENSIONS AND WEIGHT OF THE REFRIGERATOR. NOT OK TO WASTE SOMEONES TIME. Helpers also did not speak English so there goes communication. Overall really bad experience. New users warned.

Overpriced, rude, unsafe

Where to start? Not only was the quote for the Dolly just insane ($150 to drive a chair and ottoman about 25 blocks on one street in one city), the guy with the van was rude and inflexible from the beginning. The person I purchased furniture from has health issues, and Dolly made no accommodations for him or for either of our work schedules. They did not communicate with either of us, actually. I finally canceled, and booked a same-day delivery with another small-job app for a third of the price. Avoid this service if you can. There are tons of better options.

Absolutely awful app

Terrible waste of time and money! You may as well throw away your money. The pickup times mean nothing! After 2.5 hours waiting for the delivery driver they stopped picking up the phone or even responding. The seller of the couch at the location of the pickup waited all this time and had to leave. Took forever to get customer support on the line… and still not resolved. My first experience with this app will be my last.

One helper showed. Charged Full Price

Found the app via FB marketplace and decided to try them out. Changed the helper 3x. Changed the time to pick up 2x. Finally got ONE helper to show up with a truck. I supplied the remaking helpers, including helping myself, but was still charged FULL price. Thankfully the ONE helper I got with a truck was polite, friendly and wonderful to work with. Had no problem working with my guys. I would be careful in using this company / app since you don't know who you're getting, who's going to show up and even what time.
