Last update ‘broke’ it. No connect to Alexa. Does not show devices connected. Several attempts to reinstall not working... and... Cannot connect to lights away from home

Works, but needs some improvements

So far, after having the app for about a week, I’ve had little to no problems with it. However, when adding siblings or parents to the app to control lights, they cannot do anything such as pairing the lights with their smart speakers, tvs, or even add new dimmer switches or bulbs. I’ve found that only the account owner can do any of these things, and unfortunately i am unable to sign into the app on more than one device. Maybe a new feature to control the permissions each guest has in a household could come in handy, and if it already exists, it should be extremely more visible as I couldn’t find anything about guests except adding them.

No color shuffle

I believe its not that hard for the developer to do this and it will shut up every bad review Yall are still getting. Iam giving literally 2 months till this shuffle rainbow or color cycling option is included in the app, other else iam getting my money back on the lamps i bought because its funny how there 5$ lamps that have more feature in a remote control than this. (Not gonna lie the quality of the lamp is awesome, very bright and can still be used as a normal light) Just not anything good for changing colors for example in a party or such

Bluetooth stops working after firmware update

Updated my Bluetooth light strips firmware when the app told me to, a day later I could no longer control the light strips through the app and could not reconnect. I’ve tried basically everything GE suggests, I’ve factory reset the light strip and tried reconnecting, I’ve tried shutting my phone off and on, I’ve tried turning Bluetooth off and on to no avail. Now when I have the light strip on it stays on white and obviously I can’t connect to change it. I paid way too much for this light strip and it doesn’t work nearly as well as even some of the cheaper made strip lights. If ge fixes this issue then everything would be fine but from here on I will be letting my customers know of this issue.

Terrible with google mini

I tried for over to hours to get the light bulb to work with google mini. It never was able to work and i will be returning the light bulb. Dont buy if you’re gonna be using it with a google.

Horrible after iOS 14

After the most recent update this app takes an extremely long time to open and sometimes doesn’t even open.

The Bluetooth randomly stops working

I got some LED lights at Best Buy, and when I use them, this app is necessary. When I go to sleep with the lights on, one color, and the minute I wake up, the lights are white and I can’t change it. Please fix this.

These light bulbs are good but they app could be way better. We need a strobe setting and more expansive timers. On top of that an Apple Watch version of the app would be amazing so I wouldn’t have to go pick up my phone each time I want to turn the lights on or off.
