Should Be Better

This app is great but has so much more potential, especially for the iWatch. It provides alerts to my watch as well as open/closed status but that's it. It would be SO much more useful if I could open or close my door using my watch. (Especially when riding my motorcycle.) Also, the app is slow to load. If your garage door is capable of connecting to your wifi this app is a must. In fact, I will never purchase another opener that isn't capable. It's a great piece of technology that I now consider more than just a novelty. A couple of tweaks to the apps watch control would easily earn it five stars.
Only missing one thing

The app works great, but missing one thing. When do people most often open their garage from... the car when arriving home. This app needs to support CarPlay so it can be used from the car without having to find my phone to open the garage

When I first got my garage door opener I was able to set it up on my phone and my phone could actually open and close the door. However, I had to login each time to use it which was a pain trying to enter a long and compliacted password. So I stopped using it for a while. Then I got an update saying I could now login using the Touch ID. However, after the upgrade my garage door was no longer defined in the app. I went to add it back and the serial number is longer than 10 digits that it is asking for in the setup procedure. I have tried several things and cannot get my garage door opener added back to my phone. I can still use the remotes that came with it from the cars but I cannot check the status of the door nor remotely open it using my iPhone. Ugh!!!! Now I will probably have to replace a perfectly good garage door opener if I want this capability. What a waste of time this app has been.

!!!AVOID THIS PRODUCT!!!! They ask for feed back on the app non-stop, over and over and over. The request pops up right after login, and prevents you from using the app to open the garage door. There is three options - two of them bring you to the App Store for a review. The other just dismisses the dialog until next time you log in. Don't know what moron thought it was a good idea - but the have made the app frustrating and difficult to use. It has been a year or more without changing the design. Second, Craftsman does NOT support the app. It is a third party, and the third party developer will ignore everything. Took months to fix a problem in the app due to a OS update. I would HIGHLY recommend you seek out the other, generic, remote garage door products on the market now - anything but craftsman. Unless you enjoy endless frustration, every time you open your garage door. STOP ASKING FOR A REVIW OR FEEDBACK!!! YOU DO NOT LISTEN TO IT ANY WAY!!!
Lacks Apple Watch complication

Overall go app. Would be a 5 star knock out if had the ability to have an Apple Watch complication. That could change how I use my watch!
Works very well but confusing

First: for those having trouble, the app is asking for the serial# of the gateway, not the garage opener motor! Once I got over that hump the rest of it worked very well. Couldn't be happier. Minus 1 star for bad instructions on locating serial number.

THIS is 100 percent excellent technology had this equipment for 6yrs now and it worked beautifully from the beginning I was in the hospital for 30 days I was able to let people in and out of my house with this app traveled out of town and something triggered my alarm was to let someone in to reset it.this app gives you alerts each time door open or close,and the beauty of it is it's on my wife phone and my son and it also has a back up YOU CANT ASK For ANYTHING BETTER THEN THIS ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT WELL DONE
