Overall, CE has been a great experience. It does the work to limit/restrict access to adult websites, but it will not set you free. Remember, this is meant to supplement your conversations, provide accountability, but ultimately you have to want freedom more than you want porn. CE played a pivotal role in my freedom from porn, so I recommend it for whoever is looking to get free. You combine CE with an invested friend, some hard conversations, brutal self-honesty & self-examination — if you’re a faith-based individual, involve God too. The app itself works great for the most part, but some future updates could include more cohesiveness with iOS. For example, adding bookmarks to the home screen, importing calendar events from a website/email into your calendar, opening email attachments, using Face ID to auto fill passwords directly from iCloud Keychain bypassing the extra step of finding the website login, etc. keep up the great work!

this is literally the worst app in existence...it’s laggy, spams notifications...will barely open, and won’t load. Please just make this app better and also stop changing the icon every 3 months.

I am grateful this app exist. And it does what it was meant to do. However it still needs a lot of work. I have a Iphone 11 Pmax running the latest software and this app lags when im typing, im talking about a full 2 seconds to register what i input and im not even a fast typer. It lags when switching between apps, its slow even when you have data and the bars to show otherwise. I also wish this had the ability to run desktop type webpages. For 15.99 a month with this kind of service it leaves a lot to be desired. **Also, the customer service leaves a lot to be desired. I have reported these issues back in early November and never heard back from anyone. This app and company is definitely a work in progress.** ***Lastly, as some people wrote, and this goes out to fellow believers, this app is truly only a supplement to help us in this battle. It is NOT A CURE. The desire lies within to be foolish on the internet and look at shameful things. We need prayer, to be in the word and fellowship. God bless***

Ever since my husband installed this program on my phone, my internet is horrible! Super slow or it won’t open the page. Additionally, I used to be able to listen to John Piper audio sermons which have been a tremendous blessing in my life, but now I can’t because the audio stops for no reason, after playing for a couple of minutes. This is very frustrating for me:(

Any family that doesn’t protect all their devices with Covenant Eyes is asking for trouble and pain. CE support staff are friendly and improves the app continually.

I love the browsers ability to offer accountability, but its operation on iPhone is terrible. i've got an Xs model iphone with updated operating system, and the operation of the covenant eyes browser is slow and glitchy. it usually takes 10x longer to load pages that my laptop and ipad do, and about 50% of the time the pages just fail to load entirely. i need to cancel and reload from the address bar and that sometimes solved the issue, other times it does not. A year ago CE didn't operate this way. i hope it gets better or my family will need to switch to another tool to accomplish the same tasks.
