I used to like this app but now I can't stand it. It requires you to allow notifications and have the app refresh in the background. I don't have unlimited data so it will not be refreshing itself. If you don't have these things on then every time you go into the internet it takes a while because you have to go back and forth between the settings and tell it to fix later. This is frustrating.

I’ve enabled notifications—and its ridiculous that it can’t work on the iPhone without it— and the browser still asks me to enable them every time I use it.

I absolutely loved this app...until they added the VPN that is. Now my mail doesn’t work and internet is buggy! I have to turn the VPN off in order to get anything to work on my I-Phone. And it doesn’t stay off, it constantly pops back on. Please fix this VPN issue!!!

Can’t get to my bank cant get to my work email. I thought there are filters for just bad stuff I cannot work with this software on my phone. I need to work

CE is great. Browser is not. Can’t back up to previous pages as on Safari. Just not as user friendly. I want the accountability but I don’t like this browser
Great accountability, but there are bugs

The fact that this app monitors my entire iPhone is a big step forward. I really wish iOS devices were more friendly with apps like Covenant Eyes that keep people accountable for their device usage. I’ve experienced some bugs and glitches that needed to be worked out. For example, occasionally my Internet connection will disconnect entirely for a brief period time. I can delete the app and reinstall it to fix it, or I can wait a little bit for it to sort itself out. Also, the app seems to affect my location services. My Apple Maps seems to struggle to find where I’m at while using cellular data and driving. If that could be sorted out then great. Overall this is a big step forward for iPhone accountability. I’m looking forward to future improvements.
Freezes up a ton!

I love the accountability functions of this but I’ve had tons of issues with this app. It often freezes—sometimes it crashes and sometimes it’s just unresponsive. I’ve only been able to fix it by deleting the app (along with all my bookmarks and content) and then reinstall it. Really need to get this fixed.
Blocks important links from email

Important links with work are blocked and I have to copy/paste back/forth for it to work. Communicated problem with CE but no changes.

It’s seamless. Works very well and does not hinder regular activity. Always great to know that our family will be protected or held accountable for accessed websites.
