APP KEEPS SCROLLING BY ITSELF

While trying to read articles, the article automatically scrolls up to the top. I have tried several different things to stop this, but I have not found a solution to the problem. It is very frustrating to get part way through an article and having it move constantly. Also, if you have a story with a video attached, it would be nice if the video was pertinent to the story. Oftentimes they are not even related.

The app appears to have been changed recently. It keeps taking you to links even when you don’t want it to because when simply scrolling to read the story, you finger might slide over a link. It is way too sensitive and very frustrating to read an article. It wasn’t always this way, not sure the genius who came up with this. I read the headlines and stay away from reading the full story. I’m getting my info elsewhere. Please fix it.

Cannot look at articles without having to look at three video ads.

Seriously? I understand that cnn has to earn money, but unskippable, fullscreen ads that loop and repeat, if you close the ads and re-open the article, it re-starts the ads. So, if you’re on ad 2 of 3 then close the ad and go back to the article, it will restart on ad 1 of 3. Horrible idea, horrible app. You could use banner ads.

No support for dark mode in widget

When in dark mode, half the time the widget text is black on black making it impossible to read. Open an article and exit and the text is white on black and readable. Does nobody test what they release ?

News doesn’t appear unbiased and factual

Every news alert I used to get from this app didn’t appear unbiased. The author had already made an opinion which appeared both in the headline and in the content of the report. CNN also seems to focus solely on any negative news and never appears to report other non-negative facts. For instance during this pandemic I’ve never received an update from CNN on the survival rate or news on recoveries. The news focuses solely on the reported deaths. That seems slanted news to me. I’ve deleted the app since the organization doesn’t appear mandated to report unbiased news.

I can no longer read their screwed and biased opinion. I want to read the news and make my own decision and not be bombarded with being force fed with CNN’s point of view. I get it, Trump may not be the “be all and end all” but let me make that decision!

Can’t choose provider iPhone 11

I have Optimum Altice. When I try to sign in to optimum it tells me I must choose Altice from the list of providers. What list? There’s no way to change providers. I’ve been using this app for years. Now I can only watch 10 minutes at a time? When I got the message that I had to change my provider in the past, I used to just click ok and the list would pop up. Now, nothing. No way to change my provider. I guess it’s bye bye to cnn. I wish this wasn’t the case as I enjoy watching, but no longer. Come on, Developers! Fix this, for Pete’s sake ? 5-19-2020- Where is the goddamn provider list????????

Frustrating app + Objective Reporting

This app is super frustrating. From the misleading headers that convey inaccurate and false information to the difficulty to get to one news story without having to see multiple adds and other articles before landing on he proper one. The amount of “Urgent/Breaking News” articles is obscene and unjustified. Not only is this news source reporting objectively but clearly using the most negative news possible and highlight it this to bring your entire day and joy down. Don’t waste your time with this app unless you enjoy feeling depressed and mislead
