Doesn’t Support Hot Tubs

Chengsterx

Wasted 2 hours trying to figure out how to make this work for my portable hot tub with NO success. Looks like it would work ok for pools but the app doesn’t appear to allow you to select “hot tub” instead just drives you to dimensions for a pool to determine water capacity (has a 1000 gal min and most hot tubs are below that). Frustrating when I just bought a ton of Clorox products to support this app. I’ll get through this batch and go to a different brand with a more tailored approach for hot tubs.

Designed to get you to buy more chemicals

Living4EverBill

I used this app with Clorox test strips and scanned the strips with my phone over a 2 week period. It showed that I had low pH so I ordered pH increased from the Amazon link directly in the app. Followed exact instructions and after a week, the pH was reading lower than when I started before using the pH increased. App constantly showed me having high stabilizer and other number of issues all of which had handy links to buy more Clorox chemicals. I took a sample of my pool water to two different stores and it tested perfect at each store. I can only come to the conclusion that this app is designed for one purpose and that is to get you to buy more more more more that you don’t need.

Won’t load on my IPhone

Tried downloading 15 times won’t load past first screen. Just locks up!

App locks up!

App locks upon first screen. Cannot proceed past it. I downloaded it several times and it still would not work. I bought the test strips specifically to use with the app.

Find a better app

Hollywood?

It worked great one time but when I went to submit my next test kit readings it wouldn’t allow me to submit-which intern wouldn’t automatically tell me what I need to do to fix the water issues. I’m just going to find another app to download it will actually work.

DONT BOTHER IF YOU HAVE A SPA

Mpp677

Although the strips work for a quick check, don’t bother with the app if you have a spa or like your privacy. The app is dependent on you making an account, no sandbox mode. I don’t see giving Chlorox all my info just to check balances and record. Second, DONT BOTHER IF YOU HAVE A SPA!!! After setting up the aforementioned account, the app won’t let me set anything under 1000 gallons, IE a spa. There is no viewable setting for spa vs pool.

Crashes and snail slow to boot

Wiz456

Wasted strips because the app took too long to load crashes intermittently. Easier to look at the bottle within 15 seconds. When it works, all is good but that has been rare lately

No spa info

HawkHoney

The app says pool and spa, however it only works for pools above 1000 gallons

Selling/ pushing their own products only

Tonymanx

The app only tells you which of THEIR products you should use. Their products are given names by them so when using the app you don’t always know what is the actual chemical your pool needs. For example what is “PH DOWN” ? Yes it reduces the Ph but what is it? Maybe you already have some of the needed chemical - in this case Muriatic Acid.

Useless

So bought the test strips for my small hot tub loved the idea have having the app to scan it as I’m colorblind…. Well can’t even create an account because it won’t let me put in 250 gallons for size of my pool or hot tub.
