Giving an error message. Something wrong with the app after update. This happens a lot with Citizens. Not amused?
Very annoying

Every time I want to open my online banking I get I notice that I need an update, which I already have done. Then it takes me to the App Store where I have to click "open" . Then finally I get into the site . This such a hassle and it happens every time I want to get into my on line banking.

I have had Citizens Bank for over 10 years. Yes I have some issues, but they were taken care of in a quick manner. The person who had his/her card ship to an old address, it isn’t the banks fault they sent you a new card if you didn’t tell them that you moved. Also this review is for the application not the bank itself. I have had no problems logging into my account. Yes sometimes it is slow, and it is probably due to the servers. But it is easy to look at my accounts make transfers and deposit money.
Citizens has the worst...

The only app that resets and requires you to re Input all information when they decide to update the app. As usual citizens has it backwards...
Why doesn't it work

Have installed it I’ve uninstalled it I have followed all the directions it wants to load and then it goes right back to the screen that tells me to go and Activated on my phone app I’ve done it all it just doesn’t want to work
Always have to sign in

I have Touch ID and when that works, it’s great. But whenever I have to log in using the old school password, it never works correctly and then locks me out. I write my passwords down (because of citizens), now I’m going to have to reset my password, and b told that I can’t use any of the passwords I want since I have used it before. Like seriously, I have not had any security issues, thankfully, but doing this like every other month is infuriating, I can live with every other year, but this is ridiculous!
No constant verification on debit card transactions

I’ve only been a customer for a few months but I am already a fan. I use my debit card heavily and the main reason I switched from chase and US Bank was I got tired of constantly having to verify my transactions. Yes I used my card at a gas station yes I ordered something through PayPal. If you’ve ever had to constantly deal with these annoying instances you get sick and tired of it quickly. At citizens I haven’t had any issues. Love not being embarrassed when my card would be declined at the other banks and I’d have to call and verify.
