Getting Better

Bill Funk

The last two updates seem to have brought some extra stability and options...stability being the most important Would be a 5-Star if a play list could be made in the fly Update as of March 12th 2018...connectivity has improved dramatically so now rather than hoping it would connect AND recognize the 3 other SoundTouch speakers it just works immediately...now just enjoying the sound!

very, very bad

it is disconnected at every moment, and to complete there is no music on the internet.

System worked well until a few weeks ago

We’re back to the music cutting in and out every 15 seconds! Terrible app!

Great App. Reliability Needs Work

SWC1978

The SoundTouch app is, by and large, a great app. It is an easy way to fully control my speaker and discover new music. The reliability of the connection to the speaker has room for improvement though. There are periods of time when my phone can’t connect to the speaker even though everything is set up properly and I’m on the correct network. Other than this, I love the app!

App very easy to use. I have not had any problems using this app with my iPad and laptop.

Love it

Needs improvement

WJR1989

Disappointed with the limited functionality of this app (no subwoofer balance control, not all sources are selectible from app, etc.). The Bose Soundbar 300 itself fails to maintain HDMI-ARC connectivity with my new Sony TV. I expected better from Bose.

Good sound.

I’m enjoying my new Bose speakers but I can’t seem to make Alexa turn them on. Sound is good from these and surprising for their size but you have to use them in a space that’s not too large. I tried one in my living room that is 15’ x 25’ and it wasn’t enough sound. I definitely would buy again.

Almost never connects to speaker

Nachoooooooooooooooooooooooooo

(Have had the SoundTouch 10 and this app for several months now, this issue has never been resolved by any of the updates) The app has supposedly had this issue for a very long time according to the searches I’ve done on it. Maybe 1 out of 10 times- if I’m lucky- will the app decide to connect for the speaker. It is on, connected and set up to the same WiFi I am on, connected to my phone with Bluetooth, and is able to play music with and interact with my phone’s Bluetooth... When it comes to interacting and connecting to the app, however, it simply does not work. This app’s software is so poorly designed and inefficient it is unbelievable. It’s a real shame, especially when the speaker itself doesn’t have an indication of what volume it is set to (only a + and - button) and the app is the only method to see the bar that shows volume percentage.

App is Glitchy and Not Intuative

mgrafsgaard

The app is terrible. Glitchy and non-intuitive. UI needs a lot of work. Seems like they tried to put too much into what’s supposed to be a very basic app.
