Pairing problems

We could not get the speakers to work or communicate. Finally figured out there was an app. Loaded the app and could only get one of the speakers to work after updating the software. After about an hour, figured out that the other one needed to be updated even though it didn’t initially say it did. It took awhile to figure it out and pair but seems to work on. Not happy it only works plugged in. Overall, it’s a decent system.
Great Sound Quality

We use this as our home audio source. The sound quality is excellent for such a compact device. It has enough power to be heard all across the home & not become distorted. It’s great to connect Bluetooth or internet radio sources. Only knock is it can be clunky to switch between Bluetooth devices & it looses connection to the WiFi & can be a little tricky to get reconnected. The SoundTouch mobile app makes controlling the device very easy from anywhere without worrying about where the remote is. A great improvement would be a battery to allow it to be taken around the house or outside. My 4 stars is only due to the Bluetooth sharing & reconnect issues. I highly recommend the Bose Sound Wave!

Never stays connected to speaker, arbitrarily can’t find the already connected speaker so I have to continually redo setup. Great idea but useless. Am deleting this app and controlling speaker directly with iPad and Spotify.

Most of the time, as long as I don’t try to change anything, the app seems to work ok. Try and edit and the app is worthless. I’m trying to change the name of my wave radio and it now wants me to connect to WiFi, which it already is. Try and set the radio locale for music and nothing happens. This app has been out long enough that these kind of issues should not be there. Come on Bose, your company is better than this or at least used to be until all your support went overseas.

Sound is great. Bummer that the app can’t handle the color link and soundtouch speakers simultaneously. Also, it is a bummer that Bose does not have a rechargeable) soundlink speaker that you can move where there is no plug.

Sound wave and 30series lll

Purchased last year the wave SoundTouch for my living room and fell in love with the quality sound . Not the loudest system but sufficient enough to distribute the sound with quality throughout my first floor open space . Bought the 30 series for the man cave and was worth every penny . Super loud speaker can put anywhere . Definitely a good buy .

I’ve loved the app and the speaker worked great until its most recent update. Now I can’t connect to it through WiFi or wires :/
