It works perfect for me and I’m able to highlight

apple.tello

I was mad at first but then I learned how to use the simple app and it scans just as fast as taking a pic and I’m able to highlight my notes on the app before I save them to my pics

Dissatisfied

This only worked once. Could not get another scan.?

You get what you pay for but...

I understand this product is a little over $20 after tax but the least you could do is to make updates to have the camera capture better. This is also not the first complaint and if you were developers intending to keep your consumers you might want to put forth the effort to make changes and fix bugs. Please and thank you.

Can't edit or highlight/cross out

Carlyrenae

I loved the app when I first got it but now it won't let me black out or highlight my notes after I copy a picture with jot. I've tried deleting and adding your app back to my phone and nothing is working. Will delete the app if this problem isn't fixed because there is no use of this app if I can't cross out or highlight (edit) a photo. Hopefully you can resolve this issue! Thanks!

Scan Needs Work

The app has a hard time finding the edges of the board and takes a few tries to scan. Very simple app that I wish had a few more customizable options. Would like to have my lists stored in just the app and not the app and my photo album.

I absolutely don’t understand why this app has 2.2 stars ⭐️⭐️ because it deserves 5! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I don’t see any problems and sometimes ill even trick my friends that I drew the picture I took! You can do that by pointing the camera at something besides the board and it will make it look like a drawing. I don’t see anything wrong with this app and I’d definitely recommend it. ❤️ ❤️❤️❤️

Different than advertised

The disappointment here comes from the actual results differing from advertised images. The advertisements look like the saved PDFs from the old boogie board sync. They are clean white with black. This app takes a photo more like a phone scanner and ends up being speckled like a photocopy of a photocopy. The board reflects light from the ceiling, and the phone will whiteout writing that is obscured by the reflection. If I try to angle the board, the app complains about contrast because the background is not uniform. So that makes recording take twice as long. Saving a sheet takes 7 seconds working flawlessly and 20 seconds with hiccups. Both are significant compared to a notebook or the older sync product.

Eh...

I love my board, but the app is lacking. The scanner has a lot of trouble locating the Jot. When it scans automatically, the lines come out choppy. I ended up just using a different app, CamScanner—which has the option to save as PDF (the Jot app just saves to camera roll).

Poor quality pictures

seriously??!?!?!?

It seems that technology still has not caught up with this app. I am having similar difficulty taking pictures of lists, etc. not entirely sure it’s worth it... It seemed like a good idea at the time...? Also, the pad picks up fingerprints and images from paper pressed against it. I’m sure this doesn’t help with the legibility when it’s converted to the app. Keep trying...

Great product and app

MartinRock325

The speed and simplicity of both the product and the app is wonderful. The interface with my iPhone XS max is delightful. I love to try out the latest electronics and computers and often spend quite a lot of money on things that have tons of features. What I especially like about this product is that I can keep this in my glove box so that when I’m running around I don’t have to take my iPhone or my iPad or any other expensive devices. When I want to jot down a note I just open it up right the note close it put it back in the glove box. There is no lag time to Boot it up Or to worry about recharging it. Given the very very low price point I’m going to give this out his gifts to friends of mine who will love it. I’ve only had it a couple of hours but I can see using it quite frequently for simple notetaking.
