I was excited for this but it works horribly. Disappointed. I’m taking this $30 boogie board back to Office Depot tomorrow.

I was given two options of either a smaller version of the jot that didn’t have an Apple related to it or the larger version of which has an app. Unfortunately the app is completely unable to recognize the companies owned product which makes it unable to do it it’s sole function. I will be returning my jot and seeing alternative options.

I definitely love the idea of this pad just wish you could change the color settings once scanned. I love this because when I’m trying to make out a list I would much rather write with pen and paper and be able to add to my phone. I would rate this higher if I had the option for multiple settings as far as looks go. It would be easier to read with black background and white/or different colored lettering.

The app does not allow for PDF scanning. It has a hard time recognizing the surface of the tablet. It’s a real pain to open the app and scan something in. I love the hardware. I really do. I just can’t see how the hardware and software teams are in the same company. It’s GENIUS tech. How is the software this poor. Also, no iPad app? Really?
What’s the point?
