This is the worst app in the store. Total junk. Does nothing. Useless. Too expensive for free. Avoid Avoid Avoid.

When I tried to scan my boogie board on a bright surface it scanned but the copy showed up with tons of rings and spots of light on the copy. It took about 45 seconds to get it to scan and I could not even see most of my writing. The app is not what I expected and I’m honestly disappointed with it.

But the scanner always always and always cuts off the top of the board, you know where you write important things like the title of your list. It’s kinda useless. If there were apps from the 90s this would be one. It’s like the AOL of apps. Just straight up amateur hour. Not much more than an Etch-a-Sketch. Just get a pad of paper and download a free scanning app instead. Boo.

it’s way easier to use the camera app on my phone than to open this app, use space on my phone, then wait a minute to scan this and end up with a bad quality picture. just use your phone camera.

Very cool concept, but the edges and corners of the screen don’t show up in the scans.

The app itself is crashing on my phone after just less than one day since I bought the boogie board. Great concept! Execution needs work! Others here are right...taking a regular photo works way better. Downside is all the memory that takes.

i like the scan/save feature... especially when ppl are trying to be more “environmentally friendly” the fist test scan i tried it asked for “contrasting” back ground... didn’t work so i did it manual & the quality of the doc was really bad/but readable... tested today after rewarding reviews... i have a yellow border... tried a white sheet of paper... no luck... tried total black background & scanned immediately & perfect quality of the info! pleased with the result... not perfect... but for under 20 bucks! i’ll take it!!!

So I found it best to scan manually. Don’t press the button until the image is clear and crisp, let it focus, then take picture. But the app still needs some work in scanning the image... Almost even better to just take a picture. App is simple, and that is nice.

What I had figured out was that I had to switch the settings from, scan on sound to scan on launch. then when I scanned it all I had to do was put it in even light with a plan background which nothing in it so it was easy for it to scan. After doing that the app works great!
