Impressively Bad

The worst app I have ever used. Hasn’t even been updated in over a year. Pretty disappointed, I wish I had looked at the app before purchasing the device. I would give 0 stars if I could.

It takes me upwards of fifteen minutes to get a good image of my board. Most of the time I open the camera, the entire app crashes, or it zooms my camera to the side and takes the image at a weird angle. Much simpler to just take a picture with my phone.

I have a Blackboard already. I bought the Jot to have something else to use during the day while I keep my day planner on the Blackboard. I love both of them. Just got the Jot 5 minutes ago, unwrapped it, downloaded the app and it works like a charm. Who needs actual paper? I don’t anymore.
Reviewers don't understand how the BB works

I have yet to try this app, but I want to comment on some reviews below that want to be able to transfer sketches by bluetooth or SD card. These don't understand how the Boogie Board works. Images are created by applying pressure to a liquid crystal display. They are electronically erased. They are not digital in any way, so there's no way they could be transferred to another device digitally.
Issues with App

The app doesn’t auto scan my boogie board when I can get it to stay open long enough to try...and when I go to manual, the app closes out. Other times, before I can even scan anything, the app closes out on its own. I got so frustrated the other day that I stopped using the app completely and just took a picture of what I had written down so I didn’t lose it. Please fix the bugs!

Great idea but doesn’t pick it up to scan. Don’t know how much more contrast it needs.
Love the board...app not so much

The board scans fine, but when I got to edit it in the app all I get is a black screen!!
