Blocks Wi-Fi loginnon iOS

usalegin

With this app loaded, I cannot get hotel Wi-Fi login pages to load. When I delete the app, the pages load straight away. Conclusion: the app is blocking the hotel login pages from loading.

Blocks Wi-Fi on iOS

Jaa6921

I thought this was good at one time but now it’s impossible to log onto any Marriott hotel free Wi-Fi service or IHG Wi-Fi service from my iPhone 7Plus using iOS 10 and iOS 11 Caused me to consume excessive wireless data when I thought Wi-Fi was connected. The app seems to hijack the Wi-Fi connection I hope this will be fixed and then maintained across future iOS upgrades I removed the app and rebooted and now Wi-Fi always connects.

Same problem

C.Snicket

I had the same problem as another customer. I paid for the in app purchase and then it would not connect me to any boingo network. I'd honestly like my money back.

Boingo breaks login pages

Lgrtgfd

This has become a routine occurrence. I cannot log in to hotel landing pages. Boingo tried to make this sound like some sort of “one off” but it happens all over the place and disappears when you revive the app and the profile. I recommend removing this junk ware.

Scammy app

Traveler200

Tried different boingo WiFi spots worldwide, never worked.

Unauthorized charges

Begneiss

They hit me with 3 charges that I did not agree to. They told me I logged in and agreed, but I didn’t. Unfortunately I had my card on the account. They won’t give me my money back. I’ve asked them to delete my account and I’ve deleted their app. Wow.

App breaks iOS WiFi functions

ammo168

Not sure what this app did to my phone, but I can’t connect to networks run by Boingo (including several Scandic hotels in Europe this week) without using this app. And if I do use the app, the connection drops constantly, causing me to burn through cellular data. The app has made it so that in Settings on my iPhone, it will appear as if I’m connected to the WiFi network, but in the status bar I’m still on cellular, and yet cellular data doesn’t work either. It’s actually kind of amazing that they were able to screw up iOS core functions so badly with a single app. My other iPhone works fine and will connect to Boingo networks, give me the splash page, and stay connected. But now this iPhone seems to be permanently hosed courtesy of Boingo.

Impotent

Qiq2

Boingo still appears to be impotent. Can’t seem to get up and running. May need support.

Forced me to review- you get 3 stars

No idea, I hardly ever use it.

Stops the WiFi login page from coming up

sunday@sh

The login page never came up for both hotel WiFi networks yesterday and today. Searched the web and tried a few options. The removal of this app solved the problem.
