Buggy

This app is utter garbage. The developers should be fired. It can't go 10 seconds without crashing on me, which obviously means I can't even log in.

Very bad

i want use boingo!

After i download apps and try to use the apps. The apps will flash out in one second. I don't know how to solve this problem

Works as it says

MissVance

This is the best app. I find wifi no matter where I am. I really like this.

Literally does nothing

The title pretty much sums it up. I've never used a more worthless app - it has absolutely no functionality. A zero star option would be preferable.

Guest network at work stop working

Zhuang.Ye

I've been using guest wifi at work and it worked fine. After recent update I cannot connect to the guest network and notification from this app keeps popping.

Don't do it

It has done nothing but charge me. I can't even figure out how to cancel it... doooont dooo it! Boingo itself is actually great... but don't go through iTunes. I'm on an AFB and did the $30 a month plan and it was great, this app however is crap.

Terrible at maintaining connection

CS-bay-area

When traveling I found it tries to force you through Boingo. Then it disconnects leaving you on cellular data. It won't reconnect automatically (and often not at all). For example, I was at a hotel in Cork that used Virgin WiFi. Boingo would connect, but every time it disconnected I had to disable cellular data and go through the Boingo app to reconnect. Even so, I was only successful about 1/3 of the time. Ultimately, I uninstalled Boingo and everything is running fine.

Watch out!

Questionable business practice as to how they bill customers. They very cleverly sneak in the $9.99 payment... before you know what happened, you are already signed up and billed. Sneaky!!

Useless

LAX20531

I get the service free through my Amex Plat card but the need to create yet another user name/pw combo for such a useless service was a waste of 5 minutes I'll never recoup. Boingo supposedly has hotspots covering the length of Santa Monica Blvd in LA but I can't stablish a connection while parked outside an enormous strip mall of which one of these businesses surely uses TW Cable (that seemingly sublets service to Boingo). Have TW Cable at home and their useless wifi app as well you say? You may wish to attempt that app as well in order to cross check and verify that your results are the same. And although I complain that my AT&T unlimited data plan is inordinately expensive, at least it is reliable and works when I need it.
