Needs a pause feature.

Soundguytyler

The system works okay but needs a feature to allow us to pause instead of disarming. Windy conditions, sunlight and yard work are all issues. Setting a pause timer for a specific period of time would be very helpful.

Slow

^^WeWatch^^

Slow, much slower than my Ring or D-Link system. (Was considering replacing them with Blink as they aged out. Not anymore.) Everything is running through the same system so it isn’t my equipment. Ten seconds is much, much too long between clips. System is much too expensive for what you get. Also, the counter badge on the icon doesn’t update anymore. Worked until 2 updates ago. Took a star off for that.

Worse every time they update it

Pod-der

I’ve had one for 2 years and every time they update the software it is less usable and user friendly. Why on earth don’t they make programmers use the software they design?? An why do you have to CHANGE an app when it’s already working?? The changes never make sense unless the app programmer is angry at working for Blink and wants to make their app subtly more irritating with each release.

Mine work great

I have 3 and I have no problems at all I wish I could say the same for my ring doorbell

Last update was the final straw

ScousePete1212

Up until the most recent update this system was a solid 3 stars. The battery life will never be 2 years unless you never install them and the maximum range from the base is pitiful, but it did work and the addition of zones was nice. The latest “security” update is just a pain in the ass. Every time I launch the app it now asks me to log in. If you aren’t logged in you’re not going to get the alerts. So I log in and then I see the alerts from yesterday or last week or whenever. It never used to be this way. I never needed to log in after I had done it once and that should be it. Also, don’t expect great customer service if something goes wrong. I bought a five-pack and one of them came off it’s mount and dropped to the ground - about a 6 foot drop. Of course it landed on the lens and it shattered. I called customer support and they basically said, tough luck. Now I have four units and I fear for the day the next one drops.

No night recording

blinkblunk222222

Idk what happened but after I updated the camera now the camera don’t seem to work at night and then start to work at 6:00 I don’t have a schedule for the cameras the camera are now basically useless if they can’t capture anything at night

PLEASE ALLOW CHANGE TO NOTIFICATION SOUND

nic811jj

I love this app but it makes the same sound as every other general notification sound on my iPhone that also can’t be changed. I can never tell whether it’s my camera notifying me or if it’s any of the other apps I have. I hear the same sound on all iPhones in the house over and over all day. PLEASE update and incorporate custom notification sounds!

Camera

HamptonFarmer

My camera has a big block of what looks like sun smack in the middle. My system is not that old, 6 months. Could water or something else gotten inside? Smoke from burning leaves?

Used to be great now error messages.

Used to work great now I get a notice of movement but they won’t show on my ap! It says there’s an error. I’m updated and it’s still not working. It’s unnerving to know there’s movement but you can’t have it actually viewed on your phone! What’s the point of cameras I can’t monitor?

Not working.

Liberty D.

I started getting these cameras 2.5 years ago. They worked well in the beginning so I would add more indoors and out. 2 of my outdoor cameras (1 new version and one old version) are now not working. The screen is grey. They worked all day today up until the last 15 minutes. Very frustrating. Also, I get alerts on my iPad and iPhone saying there is movement in the front yard. But there is NO video. I exit the app and re-enter but sometimes it takes several minutes to see the video. This has been happening for at least a week. If this continues we may have to switch to a hardwired system.
