Better update BUT

HelloHelloHelloHelllo

Bugs seem to be fixed but the most important features are STILL missing!!! Considering the price tag and the amount of time developers had to update this is unbelievable. UE has dropped the ball multiple times with this speaker. 1. Remote on/off 2. DJ mode to allow friends to play music

Frustrating

I really want to love this speaker but it won’t even link up to another speaker. I thought if I got two of them they should work the way my mega booms work or my smaller ue booms. But I feel like this speaker was released in a rush with the promise of features. I will definitely wait before purchasing another Logitech device and see how it works with them adding and removing feature that I have become to love and enjoy. This speaker is also heavier than the mega boom which is to be expect due to some of the components. The pros for this speaker are that it is louder than its predecessors. I complain about it not linking up but it’s almost not necessary unless I want low volume in different places. It’s still water proof and I do like the charging features. The speaker is also still waterproof which will come in handy for summer pool time. Overall the speaker itself will get 3 stars where the app is 2 stars as there is no party mode no power on or off capability and the volume control is too small but I’m glad it’s there now. I’d like to see more out of my purchases.

Worst Purchase ever! Just stick to UE MegaBoom

No support for multi speaker play and Alexa support does not function like other Alexa speakers. No support for multi room support.

Can’t connect to network

I love the speaker but it does not allow me the ability to connect my network so I can set up Alexa. It’s very frustrating and is very inconvenient.

Returning to Best Buy. Won’t work w iPhone

Tried and tried and tried. Did all the trouble shooting, but simply won’t connect to WiFi and thus can’t update software and thus can’t use Alexa. Works as a speaker—yes. But don’t need a $170 Bluetooth speaker. Software isn’t there yet. Returning.

Tow speakers at the time

I been trying to pair two of the same speakers to play at the same time and it has been impossible!! I can’t get it to work, this should be pretty easy!!

Poor app

CyberData4

This software was poorly conceived and implemented worse... Sorry nothing personal but when I review a product I don’t ask myself “Are the people making this good people?” I’m sure you all are and I do thank you for the attempt but let’s discuss some things.... Remote On: This was a great feature on my megaboom and helped me when I couldn’t find the speaker. How is this not implemented yet? App Icon: Whoever designed this should win a one way ticket to the moon. It’s not 1995, either dull that blue a bit or give users a variety of app icons to choose from for their app in settings. Other apps do this. Personally the black icon for the mega boom worked just fine but if this is a different bland identity then it is what it is. Connectivity: Took multiple attempts. It shouldn’t. App battery level says 10% yet pressing +- says 20%. Also, battery does shown up in the battery widget. I see my iPhone, I see my apple watch, I see my air pods, and my Jay birds, and my power beats, but no megablast. Speaker doesn’t connect to WiFi consistently. When I open the app sometimes it's connected and sometimes it's not. This speaker will connect to my Macbook but no sound will play. Volume control is not tied to the mobile device. You have to go into the app to adjust the volume of the speaker itself. So if I put the speaker volume at 50% and it the volume of my iPhone at 100% the volume can't go past the 50% that the speaker is at. The software for the UE mega boom doesn't do this. You can control the volume completely via iPhone hardware volume buttons. It should be the same here. Still randomly disconnects from my iPhone during audio playback.
