Just downloaded the new app to iphone 6. Very unresponsive. Screens lock up. Good in concept but it sure is still a BETA version and not ready from primetime!
Good Idea, now work on making it actually functional

There is still a lot of items that do not work and are confusing. Did anyone test the App prior to its release? Where are the rental PDF receipts on the App? Good ideas, but need real world testing.

This is a surprisingly excellent app that has a lot of features and allows preferred members to choose their car right from their phones. The app is quick and does not seem buggy at at all.

When it is working it's a good app. But I'm finding most of the time when I go to book a rental is says i need to call the 800 number or try again later. It just doesn't work all the time.
Please make an app that works

Programming isn't that difficult folks. Why do I get a continual message that the network is down? Why can't I pull up reservations by YOUR reservation number ?

The app is flakey and freezes up a lot when trying to use it. Avis seems to be going out of their way to market the new Now feature, but that functionality is sketchy at best. I tried using it at a supported location, but the app didn't let me access any of the screens to change cars. Fine if they aren't ready to roll it out yet, but stop plastering all the screens bragging about it. Rent elsewhere... Avis is a lot of talk, but their competitors are better at execution.
Exchange only works for one car option

I was given a vehicle model that I didn't want. From the app I went to "Exchange" but then again was presented with a single option for another vehicle I didn't want. Ultimately, Avis Rewards program is a scam. Already reported this organization to the Better Business Bureau for unethical business practices.

I thought this would helpful as I travel a bit. It's very flakey and logging into the account is a pain.
