App rarely works

Works great when it does but rarely does actually work. Usually asks to confirm a password or something but provides no way to do that. Doesn’t show my reservations even though it has all my profile info and I can see everything online in a browser.
App not available in the Mexican App store.

Just downloaded it for the first time and while signing up I got as far as Preferences when it wouldn’t let me go any further because the “Next” and “Finish Signing Up” were covering up part of the “Receive text messages” button so I couldn’t finish. Frustrating.
Disappointing

For the last two weeks the app is not working well. Cars aren’t ready. Can’t switch to a different car. Constantly need to go the service center to get a car. What’s the point of using the app if it never works.

I’m only writing a review in hopes of Avis seeing it and fixing it. The app is absolutely horrible. It is sooooooooooooooooo slow to update information. And i get an error every single time saying i am not signed in. And i have to update my credit card info EVERY WEEK. I travel for work every week so these slow and inefficient things really tick me off! Also i switched my car through the app but the front gate attended never got an update about it, so he held me at the gate until he figured it out!!! Why even offer the option to switch if your systems don’t get updated? So tired of this app
iPhone X / Face Unlock

The app can’t work with facial recognition u lock feature of iPhone X. It won’t let the user change or check reservations. Just gives an error to call. Please fix this Avis.

This app has a long history of promise and no deliver. Some improvement with vehicle selection. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t. Return function is useless. Consistently says you are too far away from your rental location and fails. Typically this happens when I am sitting in the Avis return lot. Great job. If you take the time to build in functionality at least try it in the real world and not sitting next to your test site where it always works perfectly. Shame on you Avis for a half-baked app.

The App is nice in that you can book and see the vehicle your going to get once your close enough for the local location to assign it to you. However; 1) The app is slow most of the time. 2) More then not, I have to try to book a reservation more then once before it goes through. 3) Why does Avis not support Apple Wallet?
