I keep requesting my security pin so I can login and I never receive one. I keep requesting a new one about 10 times a day and nothing... now I’m locked out and I can’t get through to customer support.

Been a member for three years I am pretty satisfied. It’s my main account and I have had no issues. I totally recommend it. Good app too.
Wastes your money

Try fidelity instead. Ally won’t get you an “improved price” on options. Aka you throw away money making trades because their platform won’t try to get you a better price than whatever limit you may have put in. Fidelity on the other hand does and has saved me considerable money. Not only that but their site and app is hard to navigate and just feels clunky compared to fidelity. Options chains don’t show IV or OI. Very antiquated.
Where’s the Apple Watch app?

Ally bank froze my invest account had me and my roommate write letter to them to prove who it was went behind on rent because of it. Ally charges hidden fees for everything. I’m -$180 in fees alone. Plus it took 8 weeks to get my debt card I’ve called 25 times and spent over 12 hours on the phone they can’t activate my card. Ally bank will steal your money and time. Plus good luck sending money from account you can’t do that.
Money Orders NOT accepted

Unable to deposit money orders via mobile app. Money Orders must be mailed to Ally Bank in order to be deposited. Totally inconvenient. Contact Us Chat function is terrible. Crap bank. Crap banking experience. Closed the account out of frustration.
Small bank can’t handle real problems

Ally is not equipped to handle issues like fraud or debit cards being compromised. If you have fraud on your account, they will allow your funds to be completely depleted even though you already have a claim in!! In a matter of a week I had a few hundred dollars taken out of my account from the same merchant. No provisional credit granted no stopping of the continuing transactions. Just bad business here and a underdeveloped bank. Stick to big banks.

Seriously, I don’t know who has given this bank 5 stars. They have the worst costumer service, and they purposely hold your money longer than it should be. Ally invest is glitchy, sometimes it logs you off in the middle of a trade. I’ve lost thousands because of the broker and good luck getting in touch with anyone. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT use this bank.
