I usually hate writing reviews but this bank is definitely worth it. I initially set up an account for the high interest savings account and well... covid struck so that was minimized. However throughout the turmoil that is 2020, Ally still has the quickest response times of any bank or big company. I cannot commend the customer service enough. Keep it up

App Broken Since ios14 update

I’ve been using Ally Bank for a long time and I’m extremely pleased with them. Although they were a little slow putting out a good mobile app, it’s been solid. It’s extremely handy to deposit checks from my phone; however, every since upgrading to ios14, I have not been able to deposit checks. The app attempts to open my camera, hangs for a bit, then crashes! Oddly this feature works perfectly on my iPad which is using the same iOS version. I hope that they address this bug in the very near future.

Delay in Zelle transfer

I have a Chase account as well while being an Ally customer. When I send using my Chase account, the deliver to the recipient is instantaneous. However, Ally will take 3 days. ??????

Trouble logging through VPN

I use VPN when using WIFI outside my home and app won’t log in, useless.

I have turned around 150 into 300 from NCLH a few months back and add more inti my account, he only thing restricting me is the limit of 3 day trades

Can’t Access Accounts Right Now

I have experienced being locked out of my investing accounts at least once a week since I moved my investments over from TD Ameritrade. This has cost me tens of thousands of dollars. I’ve been stuck holding stocks I wanted to sale because I couldn't access my accounts. I have been given the run-around every time I’ve called customer service. There is nothing they will do so all I can do is close my account.

Awesome app, pretty much let’s you do everything as you would logging on to their website through your desktop. The investment side is great! Great customer service. No complaints. Only minor confusion was their ROTH-IRA. It’s a CD and not a traditional IRA like I hoped.

“Update required” for .. what?
