Draining my Battery

I use this app for the safe driving discount, so I have to leave the location services on. Unfortunately, my battery life has dropped significantly since. The Allstate app routinely eats about 25% of my battery each day. And the rub is I work from home and hardly leave the house.
Love the app, hate the resource usage.

First let me say that this app was constructed very nicely. Information is placed in an easy to navigate interface. Drivewise is great and accurate. However I have to give it 3 stars due to the amount of phone resources it uses when the app is running in background and phone is motionless. If I leave my XS max unplugged with a full charge this app will use at least 25% of the battery in the background over 5 hours. Definitely room for improvement. Otherwise fantastic app.
Drive Wise Not Updating

Please check the drivewise portion of the app. Its not realtime anymore. Like, right now, today is Jan. 14. In the app is Jan 8. 1wk late….. This is happening for a month now.

For the past few weeks I kept wondering why my brand new phone started losing battery life. The other day I turned off Background App Refresh and all of a sudden my battery lasted all day again. However, the app will not function if it’s not turned on. Please fix this so I’m not having to charge my battery every couple of hours.

This stupid app will tell that things are scheduled but it does NOT give any information about WHEN it is scheduled. Frankly the Progressive and Geico apps are far better at providing useful information. This app is pathetic and primitive.

Nice idea for getting a discount, but wow it really murders your phone battery throughout the day. May delete it soon.
Concerns about this app

Used it to chat to get help with roadside. Had to put in my full name, Email Amd phone to get help. It hid my phone nbr from the chat rep with a message that said that was for my safety but showed my email an name. He gave me roadside number. It the blue icon is still sitting at the top of my phone as if I’m on a call with them . Even after logging out and ending thr call I had to make. When I made the call it made me go into messages. Also the app says my card is outdated amd to login in to update. I have logged in three times - there is no clear way to update my card! And the message covers the vin number which I need to get the roadside assistance! Wasted 1 hour! Next time will just call me agent. Still happening two weeks later.
