Terrible app

Alaska Air app is horrible. It doesn’t pull up reservations made by someone else unless you have the confirmation code. The boarding pass doesn’t show you the departure time. Screens are confusing. It requires password log in each time. Alaska - Please look at and learn from the United Air app.

Money is more important than the customer. I am on a fixed income and traveling to take care of my father who is having double knee replacement. I tried to charge my return ticket or even get a refund and all you customer service could tell me that they would charge me $125 just to change a ticket that cost $175. That’s ridiculous and I couldn’t get a refund cause it was a non refundable ticket. You stopped caring about the customer and just care about taking more money from us. Baggage fees, food fees, ticket charge fees, you might as well charge us to us the bathroom as well.

I rated three stars because there are no ministry options for checking bags. Additionally this app is extremely weak in comparison to United’s app.
Alaska App Way Behind Industry

I want to love it, but unfortunately, the app is years behind their peers, like American Airlines or Delta. It doesn’t track bags, have detailed airport maps with navigation, or integrate with any good service apps, like Uber eats. It’s ancient tech.
