No support for guests, no help with cancellations

Alaska’s app is pretty unremarkable. All it seems to do is book tickets. I booked a flight online without an Alaska account, and there was nothing I could do within the app to manage my flight. Furthermore, when my flights were cancelled during January 2022 there was nothing the app could do to inform me of changes or other options. I just had to call customer service.

It is difficult for us passengers to have our flights cancelled; but when we were rebooked on another flight within 12 hours, we felt well-served. Especially since our agent that we dealt with was probably trying to help hundreds of passengers with similar experiences. Thanks to our agent for your help.
