Alaska Airlines App

BB ANCHORAGE

It’s just so convenient to use this app. Beverly Anchorage, Alaska

Seattle flight

Good app - need to add “Seattle area” airports to the options when booking..like NYC. Better convenience and would like to try Payne...

Impossible to log in for infrequent travelers

monalisamomma

Took SIX tries to identify username and password, and now I have multiple mileage numbers.

Functions adequately, but...

It would be really awesome for when I book flights on Alaska if they would automatically show up in the APP. Right now I have to manually enter the reservation code for it to be added to the APP. Other airlines that I’ve flown on have my trips automatically added to their app.

Easiest flight purchase ever

ThumbsupAKAir

I have purchased a lot of airline tickets through AK airlines but usually through the website on a laptop. Today I just happened to use the app. It was amazingly straightforward and efficient; a very streamlined process, even using miles. One more excellent reason to only fly Alaska Airlines!

Not Thrilled

Trishru

There’s a 24-hr check-in and $30 fee for each bag. Southwest gives you 2freebags and heads up that it’s first come-first serve.

Good app

larryjger

Easy to use, quick responses! Safe site!

Not up dated trips

Burley Maximus

Does not update new trips from company booked travel even though frequent flyer number is used when booking.

What a disaster

Justicialism

I’ve spent nearly six hours trying to book award travel to Europe. Every time I try to select a flight, it makes me log in all the information, only to tell me that there’s actually no availability. Called customer service twice, where they - very politely - explained that it isn’t their fault that IcelandAir isn’t updating their availability information. Meanwhile, every time I go to book a flight that’s shown as available on the website... it really isn’t. What’s the point if your advertising flights to the customer and they can’t tell what’s really available or not? How is it not Alaska’s problem when they advertise award travel that doesn’t exist? How am I supposed to book a flight if the seats that are shown to be there... aren’t? For years I’ve tried to support the hometown airline. But tonight was such a disaster, it’s the last straw. Begrudgingly going to start booking with Delta. Such a shame.
