Worst experience ever. I regret wasting my time signing up for it. The car is never there when it is supposed to be. What’s the point?

Fixing the problem

Your application has a serious problem which must be fixed every time I want to rent a car. It asks me for the happy date of birth. It tells me afterwards that they will send me a notification to my email, which never arrives. Every time I want to rent a car, I have to call the company, which is annoying, and I waste my time. The point here is why they made the application, if it doesn't work, it's crap, I think that will decrease customers, fix it NOW

I wouldn’t give it five stars because if you have a car and someone books it while you haven’t and say something happens where you can’t get the car back then they won’t allow you to extend it you would have to rush the car back or be charged

I love zip car but the last three times my experiences have been the worse. I booked a card a few weeks ago and when I went to pick up the car the car wasn’t available due to a malfunction. I wish someone would reach out to us in an event like this. I wasted my time and arrived late at the event I was going to. Yesterday I booked a car for the whole day, when I arrived at the pick up location the vehicle wasn’t available yet again due to an engine malfunction. This time there weren’t any vehicles available in any of the locations near me so I had to cancel my plans. Today, I booked another car for a few hours and again when I arrived at the pick up location the car wasn’t even there. They changed my car to a different one at the same location and when I get the second car the gas card is missing. I had to pay out of pocket and get reimbursed for gas. I’m so fed up and all they can do is give me a $30 credit. This is so not fair that this happened 3 times in a row. The least you can do is call us if we happen to book a car who all of a sudden isn’t available for whatever reason!

I’m so over zipcar at this point. Cars aren’t serviced fast enough, says some cars aren’t available when I see them right in front of me. There needs to be a way to write reviews for the company on the website because they’re complete trash. Cars won’t start, they do nothing to fix the problem. Have been very unreliable in the last two months and at this point I’m ready to cancel my membership.
