Horrrrrrible Customer Service

I wouldn’t refer or suggest anyone to use this service they are unprofessional horrible all in one you will wait for a representative anywhere from 40 minutes to a hour and a half Don’t let you have to report something or have to call cause there connection to there car is bad ya lose so much time then they won’t even comp you unless you ask them they’ll try to get over Then when they do refund your money back they don’t give you no confirmation no email no nothing just they word but meantime they’ll take that money off the card in less than seconds‼️ None of the representatives or supervisors are trained and if they are there trained poorly this is just one big company getting ready over big time‼️ Here some of the horrible supervisors and representatives and there’s a ton more and this company don’t care one bit cause it’s all about the money for over two hours I waited to not get a car then for them just to say oh we refunded you back 3597431 Fred supervisor 3780624 and it’s a slew more this company is HORRRIBLE‼️

As usual, I had a problem getting out of the garage because my card did not work this time. I gave up trying to call customer support because Zipcar’s business model does not include decent support where no matter what u call in for you will not get a pick up under 30 minutes! This is their awful way they run their business. So many times trying to get my reserved car and it wasn’t there or there was a problem. Just an awful company. Too bad, because they were a fantastic alternative to the typical car rental.


I had a horrible day

Horrible had me switching locations for hours and never got a car. Never again!!!!!!!! Plus my key wouldn’t work


Car was dirty

Their water stains on all the seats and there are two orange warnings on the dashboard overall the car had a very bad smell

I’ve been trying to cancel my membership but no one seems to pick up the phone and this is the only way to cancel the membership

When I joined a year ago, it was convenient, cars were plenty and customer service was very easy to communicate with. They’ve removed cars from the airport nearest to me, charged me multiple times and lied about refunding me. You have to book weeks in advance now and the cars are always dirty. Great idea, horrific execution.

All tho it’s a nice idea that zip car is a local car rental spot you can pick up on the go, the idea of the “convenience” just sounds good. When you get the app you pay a monthly membership, ok cool, then you pay insurance on the car, that I can get on board with, when you actually get the car, “for the day like most people do” you are paying way more than just going to a rental spot, and to top it off they add taxes and fees. So what’s the point of a monthly membership? At the end of it all it’s just really over priced. I rather just put the money down for a cheaper rental than pay for the convenience of this app.


Zip Car ... great idea “not reliable”

I have been using Zip Car for a month (every Friday). Every week, I have face an issue. Call center waiting time is not acceptable. Damage cars should not be available and it should be take out of inventory
