What Happened?

This new app update looks way worse than the old version. I want to go back to the older version. I weigh myself each morning and I can’t connect to my scale two or three times a week. The prior version of the app always connected. The scale is awesome, but the app is the worst. How can the developers release an app that is worse than the prior version? Please fix it or make the old version of the app available!

At first I had issues and the app didn’t work with the scale. I contacted the company and they suggested putting new batteries in the scale. (I had the batteries from the company in) Voila! So happy with my scale and its connectivity with the app!

Great but can improve UI

The functionality is good and it works reliably but the UI could be improved to get 5 stars. For example, it displays previous results after initially syncing even though the current results are available. Have to manually update by swiping down.

Unable to delete record

Please fix the app so we can delete the wrong record! Update: still does not work, I have the latest version, I can see “delete” when I have swiped to the left but it won’t delete the record after multiple attempts.

The Yunmai app works as expected. At one point they tried to remove features and make them available through subscription, but they wisely chose to backtrack on that. Before that happened, you used to be able to see both your weight and body fat percentages at the same time on the screen. Now the measurements show on separate screens which is a little frustrating, but I can live with it. The scale itself likes to lock up from time to time while measuring body fat. It will work on it for a bit and then freeze up. I haven’t found a sure fire way of fixing that. Sometimes I just have to sync it with the app. Sometimes I need to push on the scale so it starts to weigh and then take my foot off before it finishes so that the measured weight goes back down to zero. Then I can weigh/measure myself for real. Other times I have to take the batteries out to reset it. So the app gets four stars while the scale gets 2.5.

Great app. Love the features it offers and the speed at which it works. Why 4 Stars? Here’s why: Every time I launch the app, I have to switch profiles from my wife to myself. Annoying. Suggestion: use UserDefaults or some other local persistence method to quickly remember who I am. Remember me, and I’ll bump it up to 5 Stars.

Scale stopped communicating with app. I’ve change the batteries. Still nothing. App doesn’t connect to the Apple store. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Still nothing. I have to manually enter current weight. No other information is recorded which is defeating the purpose of this particular scale. Gave two stars because I like the contemporary design and the scale.

The scale has been in my bathroom for several years and it works great. Battery life is excellent. It connects easily to this app and I have never had any issue with the app. But I only use it a few times a month.
