Updated with new roll out and application no longer works on my I Pad 4. Rebooted, shut down rebooted what's the solution?

If YouTube didn’t try to force us to pay for some subscription just to switch apps while videos run in the background, i would have given it 5 stars.

Ads take so long to load I just wind up not watching a video, every time you try to navigate while watching a video it takes you to a different one
