Update 7/28: Clearly the developer did not read my critique prior to replying. Yet another fraudulent app that made you purchase it to access the content and now requires you to pay for a subscription. Sick of apple allowing developers to take advantage of consumers in this manner.

I don't normally do yoga as a stand alone exercise, but rather a stretching/flexibility routine. This has both stand alone and pre/post stretching. I love how it is tailored to how much time you have.

I’ve been using this app for several months now! I usually switch between this app, Pocket Yoga, and video classes on Amazon Prime. Many of the older classes on Yoga Studio are much slower than I’m used to, so I love the recent addition of faster paced classes. In general, the variety of time and intensities in this app is great. Although a good number of new classes require props with no alternative (I have to wonder if this comes from a directive from Gaim...) In general I like this app and think the subscription is totally worth it! Hoping they keep adding more classes and make a couple improvements :) A couple specific critiques: 1. While there’s great variety, search has become increasingly tricky, and intensity/skill level descriptors no longer seem accurate. With the many different categories, it’s actually harder to find the right class than ever. 2. Some of the classes (like hip hop yoga) have baked in audio. The class is great, but you have to listen to an annoying stock beat on loop for 25 minutes ?. It would be great to be able to play my own music, like with most of the other classes.

Unsure if these classes are meant for expert yoga doers but I was heartbroken and letdown after trying two of them. The pace is WAY too quick, I can’t figure out what she’s saying because she talks throughout the entire class without stopping to take a breath so I can’t pace out my breathing to match how she says to do it since I’m straining to see if she’s just talking about how you should feel or if she’s talking about changing the pose. Instead of easing my stress, it’s burdening it. If the Yoga for Stress and Anxiety is not better than this, I will be cancelling my subscription.

I love yoga and enjoy the benefits it provides my old body. I do not want to go to a yoga studio with a bunch of other people to sweat and groan with them. I far prefer practicing in the privacy of my one home. This app has everything I need as an intermediate yogi.

Use this app every day. When I don’t do the 10 min of lower back stretches, I end up stiffer and unhappier. When I do the 30 min of exercises, I feel healthier and more relaxed.

This is a great app to get and stay in shape. You can have high quality yoga in the privacy of your home. I’m a chiropractor and I recommend it to my patients frequently. If you make a custom class, be sure and email yourself a copy. Past updates have been known to dump those, so having a copy you can import will save you some frustration. I have built custom classes for my elderly parents and their balance benefits from this practice.

Helps me maintain yoga practice despite budget and hectic schedule. Provides oral directions on poses during sessions that actually are useful in absence of live teacher.

I like yoga studio because it’s a free app and I get just what I need with no additional cost unless I opt for them.

I absolutely LOVE this app!!!! It has classes for absolutely everything for all skill sets. She has a soothing voice and it’s easy to follow.
