Let me tell you why this app is 5 Star worthy

First, I have a personal hatred of subscription apps. When your subscription ends, you have nothing. ?I’d greatly prefer to pay for it outright, even if it’s a steep price or if I have to pay again for new content. However, I’ve been wanting to get back into yoga and was dead tired of the DVDS I bought way back when. (I also have a personal hatred of yoga classes, so that’s out.) I decided to give Yoga Studio a try. I figured I’d know within 7 days (the free trial) if I liked it. And I do! It actually only took three days to decide I love it. I love that there’s something for my years away from yoga self that makes me feel I can do it again but is challenging, too. The variety is also impressive. In over month of practicing at least three times per week I’ve only repeated classes because I particularly liked them. There is plenty of content to do a new class every day. I also like being able to create my own class “mixes” from other classes. The teachers are clear and calm and the music is not intrusive. I like that it syncs with Apple Health automatically, and I like the calendar that tracks your sessions and allows you to schedule classes for reminders. I really do love Yoga Studio. The only thing I’d change is switch from subscription to purchase.
Perfect for a Private Practice

Yoga is a very personal practice for me, so I’m not a huge fan of in-person studios. I also prefer to practice outside so, I really enjoy the mobility the app affords me by being able to download the classes to my phone. The app offers different focuses/types/styles of yoga which has introduced me to some areas of yoga I probably wouldn’t have tried otherwise. Also a big fan of how most of the classes offer beginner/intermediate/advanced options as well as varying class lengths so I can always fit in a session that accommodates my schedule e.g., 10 min quickie, 30 min, 60 min. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Excited for more classes to be released!

I’ve been using the Yoga Studio app daily for almost two years. Carefully moving from Beginner to Intermediate to Advanced. It’s been incredibly powerful in cementing my yoga practice at home. From something I did in groups but didn’t really “get”, to something I own for my self. Thank you!
Disappointed with the new charged

I bought this app for $5 a while ago and it came with everything a needed; a few premade classes, the ability to create custom classes, and an easy to understand interface. I just got back onto the app, now there are more premade classes which is good but you can’t access them without subscribing to a membership. I tried to create a custom class which was my favorite thing about the old app but again, you need a subscription to be able to do that. My money I spent on the original app is wasted now that I can’t use the app at all without paying even more money for it. It’s a joke and I’m done with this app now.
Fix orientation

Loved this app for years. Landscape orientation no longer auto corrects on iPad. Needs to be one way - lame. Furthermore, the main menu requires portrait orientation - more lame. For those that have a stationary, docked iPad for use with external speakers and/or a mixer, recent updates have crippled optimal landscape functionality. Please fix.

I have been using this app for over a year now and I really love it. I was never into yoga in any way but this app has made it easy to slowly get into it. I especially like that they don’t push the middle eastern philosophy that much as I am a Christian. I feel better and am more healthy and health conscious. Thank you for your dedication to delivering excellence.
No communication

Long time user that had the old version and never updated due to having to repay for what was already purchased. Accidentally updated one day and now all my classes (& my access to them) are gone. Tried the promised “Restore Purchases” option multiple times and it has yet to work. Contacted the developer and received no response.
Bought it and didn’t download anything and am now screwed

You all here are shady because now I can’t use any of the classes! I didn’t download very many of the classes and now I have it and can’t really use anything. This is a terrible business model. And I can’t do get back anything because I didn’t download anything. Boo on this app.
