Did not buy an app to only have to pay for membership

Unlbronco

Bought the app and enjoyed the basic classes. Now an update is requiring me to pay per month for the same classes? It was a good app but now I feel betrayed and I am going back to YouTube for my future yoga needs.

Subscriptions are not working properly

SeeWhatJENDo

With the last update, the developers added some interesting looking classes, so I signed up for the trial week. The “week” lasted exactly a day, and I could not access any of the classes anymore. So, I tried signing up for an actual subscription, but they still would not work: it would just put me back into the subscribe-now screen. I’m not super into paying for a service I can’t access, so I immediately cancelled the subscription. This is a pretty substantial bug for an app that’s become pay-to-play.

Absolutely love this app

Many choices of classes to go through. Several levels. There’s something for every body.

Poor customer support

frustated yoga

Would have given five stars. I have used this app for years great quality. However, when the purchase option changed I have been twice now for a cost that was suppose to have been waived since when I originally signed up it was a flat fee.

Little yogi

Ok when I found the app yrs ago there wasn’t so much added. Simple and to the point. Now that there is these new things. There is more yes. But I’ve not used the app for a while due to other things coming up. But I’m working on it. I have found all my normal classes. So I’m getting back into yoga once again. I may try some of the other new features in the future. Time will tell. Love this app and will always use it.

Finally received a response — still frustrated

Used to use this app daily. Then the subscription service was added. For a long time I could not access any content even though I had purchased the original app. After months of inability to use the app I deleted it. Now four months after my last review I finally received a response from the developer that bug fixes are in effect and I should be able to access content. At first, upon updating and restoring the app, I thought I was still being prompted to subscribe in order to access content. I see now that all the original content is still accessible; it’s just the new content that requires a subscription to access. I’m glad to be able to use the app again but I am still very frustrated it took so long to resolve the issue. I will only consider Gaiam’s services and products with reservation in the future.

Thank God for this app

Moved to Poland and not speaking the language I couldn’t go to yoga classes. I really missed it, but this app is easy to use and allows me to do yoga at home wherever I can fit it in. I really love the 10-15 minute lessons. Great for lunchtime or first thing in the morning

Amazing

Thanks to this app, I’ve been able to take little moments to check in and decompress on the daily. This app makes yoga a little less intimidating.

Can’t use it

You have to pay for the $7.99/month trial to even watch the videos. Dumb

Do not upgrade

Like everyone else, bought this a year ago because it was NOT subscription based. App automatically updated, and now it is. I'm going to submit a refund request from Apple for my original purchase. If they get enough requests, maybe they or Gaiam will do something. UPDATE: Five star again after the fix.
