App Crashes - Can't Use

Bought a XY GPS With Lifetime Plan during Cyber Monday 2017 and installed the app, but can't use it. App crashes when looking at the settings of XY GPS. It doesn't crash with the XY4+ that I got though. I want to use and love this, but it's not working. ?⭐️????

FINALLY XY gets it right. I’ve suffered with the version 2 tags which are just too quiet to hear. The 4+ is FANTASTIC. LOUD, long range too. What I LOVE is replaceable batteries. Tiles work well but kill you in replacement costs as the battery lasts about a year then you own a useless plastic disc. I ordered a bunch of 4+ for Xmas stocking stuffers. Perfect gifts.

App crashes with XY GPS

App crashed while setting up on iOS. Tried to set it up with my computer, but they removed the ability to do that. Tried contacting customer support, but with no phone number to call, I had to resort to their messaging system through their website. The reply I got later in the day was more or less “we’ll get back to you soon” and “we’re too busy to take a phone call”. Not what you want to hear nor experience when you purchase a few of these XY GPS systems. I really would have loved for this GPS to work, but it does not. The XY4 model works fine. Easy to set up and is really handy. But I purchased a few XY GPS models that are seemingly useless.

Fails to update

No longer alerts me about my tags in the car, now it only just updates when I open the app even though all background services are enabled.

XY Find it number 3 stopped working

I purchased two. The first one took literally one week before it stopped working. The 2nd one stopped working after about a month

Can’t link my XYGPS to the app at all

I got my xygps a couple hours ago in the mail and I still haven’t been able to connect it to my app. Every time I try to connect it it’s loads and loads and then goes back to my sim, then it gives me a message saying there was an error activating the SIM and tells me to go to a certain website to put the serial code of the finder manually, then I go to that site which tells me to download the app and do it through there. That’s just great Ive been going in circles and i still can’t seem to activate this thing. Beyond frustrated right now that I’ve just given up and pretty sure I’ll just throw this thing in the trash pretty soon.

XY GPS won’t pair

I tried everything imaginable to get the app to recognize the device. After reaching out to xyfindit multiple times, roughly a day later I got a response starting that it was a known bug and they’re working on it. So basically every GPS unit sold to an IOS customer is a brick until they figure it out.

Began to download the app on iPhone. Well the back screen won’t move and cannot press join. You think a simple issue to detected on the first go around. Clearly someone skipped a step. Not looking good and wish my husband would have read the reviews before buying this. Good idea wrong company to go to.

Unable to download app

I am trying to download app on the iPhone ask. I tap the get button and the screen comes up without the button to tap to download it. It appears to be offset off screen so the button is not accessible. Thus the app is not downloadable to the iPhone X.

Please don’t waste time or money on XY GPS. This thing is a SCAM, does not work. There are 0 reviews or users that have yet to prove that it works. Stay away.
