Wasted money and time

I never write negative reviews, but this product deserves less than zero stars. I bought it months ago and it has literally never worked. I have tried troubleshooting and ended up spending wasted time in addition to the bloated pricing. I would not spend another cent on any product this company distributes.

I purchased my (6) XY3 FIND IT Bluetooth devices on the TODAY SHOW's STEALS & DEALS SEPT 2017. I received my items on Sept 18. When I opened the XY3 box I was instructed to download this app. I read the reviews on this APP and I was not pleased at the negative reviews. I decide to perform my own Test & Review of the product. All the posted reviews are CORRECT.... HORRIBLE APP & HORRIBLE PRODUCT! No Refund!!! No Exchange because I only paid $12.00 per XY3 instead of their $15.00 website price. But I was not aware I could not return product until I received my email order confirmation or I would have never order these devices. I APP DOESN'T ALWAYS WORK!!! You have to keep clicking the button on the XY3 to get the App to FIND the XY3. On 1st test I sync device with App and it didn't FIND IT after 20 feet away from my smartphone. I had my husband help me test it when he was only 10 ft away from me this App stated " device is out of range". I had him press the button on the XY3 and the App still stated "device is out of range". APP drains your smartphone battery!!

I installed it per instructions. It made a noise once and after that I can’t find my phone I can’t find my keys I can’t find anything with it it doesn’t do anything. I wish I hadn’t wasted my money.

Used to work, now they want me to invest in them?

It used to work marginally. Then, after a long period of not using it, I put new batteries in my tags. My iPhone 6 "sees" the tags, and can ring their tones, but will not add them. Same with my iPad Pro. Will try updating to iOS 11 on the iPad and maybe that will help. Just the other day I received an email from them stating that they wanted people to invest in them and hadn't heard from me. The app says I can be a part owner for as little as $350. This is crazy.

I love these beacons and the updated app. I've recently made the switch from Tile and have found the XY app much more user friendly than Tiles. I can easily link multiple finders to one device and the KeepNear notification settings are next level impressive.

Surprised by all the negative reviews on here, because my XY beacon has only ever been helpful! I don't normally do reviews, but the app/product are super useful and innovative, so I felt the need to leave one. As a gigging musician, I travel to a lot of different venues, where it's easy to leave gear behind or even have it stolen. Excited for the XY4 (which I've heard will be louder/easier to find) and the GPS version! (side note: remember to change the battery on your beacon. I see a lot of people complaining about theirs not working, but they probably just forgot about the replacement battery that comes with it)

Can’t add a new finder; known bug

Latest version of software doesn’t allow you to add a finder to your account. In my case, XY2. So, like, it’s kinda useless. Support said they’d notify me when the app was updated, but gave no estimate as to when that would be.

Bought a set from Meh and they didn’t work- could not “add device” and it turns out there is a bug in their system according to their tech support team.
