Fun game, but...

The game play itself is fine, but the dictionary is out of hand. Too many words are acronyms (QGP for quark gluon plasma) or abbreviations (ZA for pizza, QUE for barbecue). Furthermore, there are many words without definitions. I encountered many of these when playing solo challenges. I could come up with many acronyms or abbreviations from my profession, but they aren’t in the dictionary. It has taken the fun out of it. Stick with real words that have definitions.

I actually upgraded to a second star because support has been really good about fixing the problems with the ads. I have a new problem where the screen goes black, but will deal with it. However, now the messenger doesn’t work, tells me to upgrade to a new version of word to get messages. Problem being there is no update! So my message ability seems to have disappeared.

Ok, Zynga. I’ve been a loyal words player for many years. I love your interface and I love the challenge of the game. But lately, it seems there are too many fancy upgrades and games and points and coins, it is impossible to play the game. It takes forever for the app to respond to anything anymore, even in Wi-Fi and with full cell service. You may have added one too many features and the app just can’t handle it. For the first time ever, I think I will be taking a break from Words. Maybe I’ll try again in a few months or a few years to see if he fixed it.

Crashes constantly since last update, issue with ads blaring sound with no way to stop but to quit the app despite all settings having sound off, device ringer off, device volume down STILL not resolved. Ads are longer and even more frequent than before. Still convinced many people cheat/hack the game so I only play with a few people anymore. Major downside from the game I once loved and played daily.

Too many ads, constantly freezes

Too many ads and interruptions. Crowed page. Every time an ad comes on my game freezes, have to delete app then reinstall.

Update: I have now deleted your WWF2 app. Every practice game I have started today after uninstalling and reinstalling the game - to start fresh - all game back with the error message “Oops! Something went wrong”! You’ve had NUMEROUS complaints about this happening for WEEKS yet you’ve failed to resolve it. I’m done with your game and am moving on. Bye, Felicia! I agree with so many of the other reviewers who are complaining about the silly rewards that pop up and waste our time. I am also having issues with my solo games freezing up. And, why are the solo games limited to only 3 at a time? Like so many others, I’m moving on to another game all together. You once had a great game - and you jacked it up - it’s just a mess now.
