Weak

JBOZ99

For a $1000 camera, this is extremely barebones and amateurish. Very disappointing. (And no security!! You'd get zero stars for that if I could)

They do not understand what people need

Jaophoto

This is likely the worst app I have ever used. It's incredibly badly programmed. Only downloads images in very low resolution that is basically useless even for Facebook pics. The quality of the jpegs that come through at the best quality setting doesn't even come close to the quality from the built-in camera on your iPhone, making this a rather useless exercise. Why use a dslr/Nikon compact if it can't even give you higher quality than the built-in camera quality due to the fact that this app downscales the images? Most astoundingly, it does not support raw files even though iOS does. The app also loses connection all the time. It's quite astonishing how clueless the writers of this app must be about what Nikon customers need and want from something like this. People need a way to get images from their cameras on their mobile device quickly, reliably, and at high quality. This does not do it and there is no reason for that except for bad programming and not understanding the needs of the customers.

Work Great in my L840

Aldo03

I know these app, has many negative review, however, I found it useful. The only thing that I complain About in this app. Is that I am unable to upload my videos. But, it has never crashed or denied access to the camera connection with my device through wifi. And about the battery denying access to upload any video, it can be adjust in setting, I have it set up to work even with 10% of battery life and it works. Now, I don't recommend to use your camera to take the pictures through your device, I think the resolution and quality is not the same.

Please develop this app

deepsaltwater

This app could be fantastic. Ability to change settings? Easier to pair up? Bluetooth maybe?

Missing Features

Photophunk

This app leaves much to be desired. - No native iPad support - Images do not autorotate until downloaded, not helpful for a quick review. Eye-Fi does it better, and that isn't saying much.

Not on iPad.

jgonzales228

The App Store says this app is available for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. When I search for it in the App Store on my iPad it never even shows up as an option for download. Can this be fixed?

Lousy app

Kevvie Metal

This app forces you to download only in lower than original resolution if you need to move more than one image at a time to your phone. The only way to move images to your phone in the original resolution is to do each one manually. If you take more than two or three shots, this becomes a HUGE chore. So pointless. Rotten app.

Please release an iPad version of this app!

Xigtomas

This App works flawlessly on my iPhone. But I want an iPad compatible version of this App. It would be so much better to copy photos from the cam directly onto the iPad.

Nikon Corporation

Chinofilipino

Why does one of the biggest camera corporations have such a buggy app? Needs a lot of work but the concept is great. Hope to see improvements as it would make the Nikon/smartphone duo even better.

No Issues on my D750

Dadispissed

Considering all the negative reviews, I had VERY LOW expectations for this app. To my delight and surprise, I have had zero issues with this app. After taking photos of my newborn baby, I am able to almost instantly download the photos of my choice to my phone. And seconds after they are downloaded, they are on my TV via Apple TV. Since I have no issues, 5 stars in my book.
